“Close to airport and convenient”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 13, 2013

We stayed here one night prior to leaving from CDG the next morning. We had stayed other times in a BnB located just outside of the airport. That BnB had raised their rates to $140. We booked at Sejours et Affaires knowing that it would be pretty basic. We were happy with what we got. A quiet two rooms; small kitchen where we could have prepared a small meal (we arrived too late in the evening and had to order a pizza instead); clean bathroom. Overall, for the price ($85) we were quite content. The location was perfect. Although we arrived later than we had intended the front desk was extremely helpful; we had free parking; they ordered the pizza for us; and the shuttle service looked organized and functional (we had a rental car to return). I wouldn't stay a week here, but certainly for the night before a departure, it works out fine. It is close to a mall (walk across the street); it was relatively easy to find with our GPS (at night), and again, I was quite happy with the front desk people (maybe they read the negative reviews and were trying harder).

Room Tip: Top floor means no one is above you but you have to carry suitcases upstairs.

We chose this hotel based on it's price (200 Euro for 2 nights) and convenience to the airport for our relatively brief 2-night layover in Paris.

We got off on the wrong foot due to being steered wrong by the confirmation email, which said we had to catch the shuttle at Terminal 1. We flew into Terminal 2 (with a toddler and 2 carts full of bags and gear), and attempted to reach T1, but after some walking we reached a point where carts were not allowed... so we gave up on the shuttle and went to the taxi stand. As it turns out, the shuttle also goes to T2, and if we had stood at the taxi stand long enough, the shuttle would have arrived.

As an aside, I've never seen an airport taxi stand so poorly "run", if you can even call it that, since it wasn't really being run at all. Usually there's someone there from the airport, keeping things moving in an orderly manner... but here there were dozens of cabs parked in a line with a half-dozen drivers standing around at the front shooting the breeze, paying zero attention to anybody who needed a ride.

For the hotel itself, it wasn't bad, but definitely geared more for the low-budget extended-stay. There seemed to be a large group of tradesmen living there for the duration of some kind of project. They didn't really bother us but I noticed them gathering meals, beers and smokes in the evening.

The hotel is located on the edge of Roissy, which is a smallish village near the airport. It's a relatively short walk to the village center with small shops and restaurants.

The room itself was reasonably good - kitchen could have been better equipped, and the bathroom was only accessible from the bedroom, which could be an issue if anyone is using the bed in the main room and needs the bathroom at night.

Minor complaints - the blue "standby" light on the TV in the bedroom was blindingly bright and it couldn't be unplugged - we had to hang a shirt over it.

Also, the wifi and phone never worked in our room. When we complained they suggested the well-worn "unplug and plug it back in", which didn't help. We were able to connect to the neighboring room's wifi though, so not really a huge deal.

The shuttle had to be booked in advance to get from the hotel to the airport, and in the opposite direction we ended up waiting for quite a while. They told us we could have called for the shuttle but that's not very practical unless you have a french cell phone.

I booked this room for my brother based on the fact that the room looked quite nice and the price was very affordable. Unfortunately his experience at the hotel was terrible. Whilst every other hotel had regular shuttles every 20 minutes or so, his shuttle took over an hour. Consequently, there was a big queue at check-in and he was abruptly told to sit down and wait. So he waited..... and waited..... and waited some more, while the manager just strolled around and didn't assist the check-in person under siege. Not what you want after a very long flight from Australia.

When he finally got to his room (which was reasonably good for the price), he tried to access their WI-FI with no success. When he returned to reception to inform them that the WI-FI wasn't working, the staff member just shrugged their shoulders and didn't attempt to resolve the issue. He forked out for a cab back to the airport because he didn't trust the shuttle service to get there on time.

I stayed here to be close to the airport for an early flight out the next morning at a reasonable rate. The buildings do not have lifts so if you have heavy luggage you might want to get a ground floor room. The rooms are quite large. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom a nice size. The wifi worked great and the staff gives you good instructions on how to login.

If you need a shuttle prior to 6 am you are out of luck and will need to call a taxi. Thank goodness I had a rental car as that would have been a problem since I had to be at the airport at 5:20 am.

Room Tip: Ask for a ground floor room if you have heavy luggage so you don't have to drag them up the stai...

Cons
- Sink in bathroom blocked so water won't go
- Fridge not working and the Technician could not fix it
- No daily cleaning and we stayed for 3 days. Our sheets were never changed, bin was never emptied, etc.
- We shouldn't have to leave 20 Euros cash deposit just to get a crap adaptor

Pros
-Free shuttle to and from the airport

Overall a terrible experience. We'll not be going back there.

We needed a reasonable hotel near CDG with more than one room and this fit the bill. We had some problems finding the shuttle and ended up taking a cab. and since the place is new, the cab had problems finding it. After that we took the shuttle and it worked fairly well. It's within walking distance to the village which has a grocery store and numerous restaurants. With the windows closed you can't really hear the nearby planes. The wifi didn't work too well, but since one of our group is a computer geek, we managed. We had one full day in Paris, and getting into town wasn't too difficult. The location seems remote, but it isn't really and it's a pleasant country atmosphere.

Room Tip: I think all the rooms are one bedroom suites with a very comfortable sofa bed in the living room

We were looking for a place to stay one one for a family of 4 before taking our plane.
It was a cheap offer 90 euros only ( next cheapest was 150 this night).
We took a cab from Paris gare de Lyon after midnight ( night price from cab, total with 5 suitcase 52 euros).
At arrival, nice surprise, extremely friendly and professional halo from the front desk at 1:30 am. The person even help us to get to our rooms. It is an apart hotel (I.e small appt to really an hotel).
It is clean and 10mn from Cdg, using the complementary shuttle but you need to reserve at front desk the day before.
Very convenient place if you go to the airport or work around there, I will use it again. Taxi never heard about it then better to have a cab with GPS.
No cons for me except the complexity to connect to the internet, wrong room number I had to figure out the right room number ( 1 floor upstairs ) to get in at 2 am in the morning.

Room Tip: Large room apartment style, good for family of 4
