I stayed here with a couple of colleagues on a business trip, and was pleasantly surprised to find this little oasis, a short walk away from La Defense. The hotel itself is pretty small, as are the rooms, but the welcome was extremely warm, and the receptionist (owner?) was equally happy talking to my colleagues in English, to other guests in Italian, and of course French to the natives as well.
I have to repeat - the room I had was tiny, but was well equipped, and comfortable, with excellent hi speed wifi. Breakfast was taken in the lobby, at a set of coffee tables, which is a little cramped, although on the second day the receptionist (owner?) put us at a table out in the courtyard, which was much more comfortable. Breakfast is typical French style (great bread, good coffee) - I enjoyed it tremendously, but don't expect a long menu of cooked items.
Finally, the thing that made this hotel shine for me is that it is surrounded by some outstanding places to eat ... all within a short walk. I recommend Chez Tan, for Vietnamese food, and Restaurant Resunga for Nepalese. And there are a bunch more that I will try when I return in the future, as I definitely will when I am next in La Defense.
