The staff at this small boutique hotel went out of their way to make me and other guests feel at home. Breakfast each morning featured standard foods such as cereal, eggs, sausages, and yogurt along with cheeses and sliced meats...nothing fancy but all was fresh. Exceptional coffee is available all day...the staff offers you a beverage every time you enter the lobby. The room was small but well appointed with a comfortable bed, modern decor, and a bathroom that was a wonder of design (how did they fit a full shower, sink, and toilet in that tiny space?). Both the rooms and the public spaces appear to have recently gone through an update/refresh. I will definitely stay here again when in town on business. It is walking distance to many restaurants, including being situated right next door to my favorite dinner place, Le Sain Sert (see my review on this restaurant for more info).

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back side of the building away from the street. the back of the building face...

To start with the service is excellent the staff are all very approachable and very friendly, any issues they are there 24 hours a day. Also a nice breakfast is chucked in, which for the price is impressive! O also this can be served in your room, 5-7am for those with early flights... Its very close to the metro station and a few stops from the Champs -Ellyses. We stayed in a triple room which was exceptionally clean and comfortable, bed was sooo comfy, we stayed for a chilly January weekend but the room was kept lovely and warm.
Free to use safe, free to use internet, flat screen tv, toiletries (including toothbrush and razor if needed). I noticed a few of the reviews on tripadvisor suggested because puteaux is slightly out of the centre of paris it costs more to get over to it that you save... this simply isn't true the way the metro pricing works for 1.70 euros you can go anywhere in the city. For 6 euros you can have infinite metro time in central paris anyway, importantly "esplande de la defence" is included in this tickets area, making travel no hassle in the slightest even after a day of hard exploring in the beautiful city. Next time im in paris im without a doubt staying at Vivaldi. It was like a dream coming back to such a nice hotel after exploring the most beautiful city in the world!

Myself and my (now) fiancée stayed at the Hotel Vivaldi when we visited Pairs over a weekend (Friday to Sunday) in January. This is located just outside the centre of Paris, in a place called Puteaux but the nearest Metro is about a 10 minute walk away (Esplande de la Defense), with another one on the same line but one station further back about 20 minutes away (La Defense) and also a Tram station close by. The great thing about this Metro line, which is the yellow line, number 1 - is it runs straight through the main attractions and centre of Paris. It takes you through Champs-Elysees, the bridges Pont Alexandre III and Pont des Arts, the Grand Palace, the Louvre and into the centre of Paris, Chatelet (if you come in on Euro Star you will arrive at Gare du Nord - take the purple line 4 to Chatelet and change to the yellow line 1 for the hotel). It also runs you very close to Notre Dame. The Eiffel Tower is just a five minute detour off of this metro line and onto one other line (light green / line 6). The whole line only takes 33 minutes to complete from one end to the other, so you can be at most of these places within 10 - 20 minutes. Another big bonus on the location is just how quiet the area is. Unlike the centre of Paris there is very little traffic or the hustle and bustle of people continuously walking around. It feels very safe and we heard no noise at all at night, making it a peaceful area to sleep. There is also a quite wonderful restaurant next door called Sain Sert Le.
The hotel itself is a simple but very clean place. It is not a huge hotel by any means but certainly was not overcrowded or had the feeling there were too many people about. I found the room to be a bit smaller than expected, with a double bed the main stay but also a dresser, TV on the wall and a cupboard which had room for clothing and was also home to a mini fridge and safe. The bathroom again was quite small, had a toilet, sink and shower (no bath) and the shower was only room enough for one person! However it was a very clean room and for a couple as we were, it was big enough and not too small we were falling over each other. Of course being a city break and lots to see, we literally only slept and got ready in the room - if you are the same, this will be absolutely fine.
The staff were very, very good. Always smiling and happy to see you and full of any information you needed. Anything we asked, ie nearest metro station, locations, are bags allowed in certain places, they knew the answer too and were always correct. Their English was also perfect. Breakfast was part of the price and we were immediately offered it to be brought to our room each morning instead of coming down. It was a free service, the only requirement you letting the reception know the day before and a slot booked - of which was bang on time both mornings we had it. A small bonus as well was free Wi-Fi but also free calls to landlines to a huge chunk of Europe.
All in all, although the room looked a little smaller once there to what I expected I would highly recommend this hotel. We spent little to no time in the room anyway, it was terrifically clean, the metro line was by far and away the best one we could have been close to, whilst also remaining in a peaceful area and the staff were excellent. The price of this hotel compared to some in the centre was so much better that even without that list it would have been worth staying here anyway - everything else was a bonus and made for an easy to travel and wonderful trip.

Room Tip: The day / night before book your breakfast to be brought up to your room for no extra charge!

I stayed in this hotel for approximately 2 weeks. Even though it's not in central Paris, the area is excellent: quiet and safe neighbourhood, near a commercial street and just a 10 minute walk to Esplanade de La Défense Métro station.
The rooms are impeccably clean and the beds and pillows are really comfortable. The bathroom is kind of small but in my experience all bathrooms are painfully small everywhere in Paris. Despite this, it offers everything you might need, they even have towel warmers. And the breakfast was delicious and abundant.
Last but not least, the staff is the highlight of the hotel. Everyone was friendly and always ready to help. I must specially thank Laura for her kindness and her willingness to help me hone my pitiful French and Olivier for all his tips of good places to visit as well as our nightly conversations.

As a family of four we stayed at Puteaux for 3 nights during the new year celebrations. Logistically its about 15 minutes walk to nearest Metro. Overall this is a nice hotel, its in a quiet neighborhood, rooms are very clean and a pleasure to stay in.

We arrived early from a long flight and were given our rooms to freshen up. The rooms while small are functional with everything you need available. WIFI was good as with the breakfast with plenty of choice. We found all of the staff friendly and helpful. Personally this is a good hotel.

The location is not in central Paris but reachable by metro nr. 1 (15 minutes to go) - the metro for the main sightseeing targets. It's a silent area. Next to the hotel is a nice french restaurant (bisto style).
The room was very nice, modern style; bathroom is small
The receptionists offered a very good service (lookinf for problems, restaurant tipps & booking,..)
The Hotel offers the service to serve the breakfast to your room without extra charge.
All in a all - a good value

The hotel location is outside main Paris but still connectable through metro. The room was good value and although it has an official rating of 3 stars (by the French government) it is of far superior quality to most of the self rated "4 star" rubbish that you see at many other hotels in uk (or other many other countries).

The breakfast was included in the room rate and was quite a nice continental breakfast. The staff at reception were very friendly.

Two problems were the room service where the food was of very poor quality (microwave) and overpriced for what it was. The other problem was the hotel failed to update prices contained in the brochure and en refused to honour those prices.

The room was very clean, impeccably so. The bathroom w as nice and modern. The room was of very good quality room compared to what one would usually see in a similar establishment in the uk.

Overall it was a pleasant trip and the holt convenient, clean, comfortable and of good value. It'd just a shame that they spoiled it with two minor points.
