“Try elsewhere. Use as last resort”

It's difficult to complain too much when you pay a lower rate for a hotel, but here goes! Plus it was fashion week, so might explain why nothing else was available.

When we arrived at the hotel, there was a loud drilling noise, and after inquiring about it, the lady behind the desk simply stated there was work being done, no explanation, or apology.
The lady asked if I wanted the instructions in English or French. I would have managed with French, but as the noise was so deafening, I chose English, and even struggled with that! She didn't seem too pleased with my choice of language either. The work started at around 8:30am and finished around 6-7pm.

We didn't have breakfast at the hotel (9 euros), but can't imagine a relaxing meal with all the drilling going on!

The area around the hotel was horrible, and felt quite unsafe when walking from the Metro at night. Lots of people hanging around the Metro entrance, and outside a cafe quite close to the hotel. Only good thing was having the Metro (Hoche) very close by, making it easy to get to the attractions.

The room was pretty small, but again, you get what you pay for. However, we did notice that the bathroom smelt of smoke when we returned at night. We also noticed a cigarette burn on one of the curtains.

Like my title says, try other places first, and only use as a last, cheap, resort. Unless you decide to book in Fashion Week................

The hotel blocked 500 euros from my bank card account for a room before we arrived. I had to pay 609 euros in checking out again from my another card. Fortunatelly I had another card. Now, after 2 weeks 500 euros still blocked!!!
I do not recommend this hotel.

The hotel was situated in an ideal location, close to the bakery, halal food outlets, supermarket and the metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the room was clean and had tea making facilities. The park was within walking distance

We paid 51 euro for a double room a night. The people at the reception where very nice and helpful and there was nothing wrong with the room (not big but clean). The breakfast for almost 10 euro is overpriced. But...The hotel has no parking garage anymore so you have to park your car in the street. There you have to pay from mon-sat (max 2 hours). So every 2 hours you have to pay again. Impossible if you want to visit Paris. And an other point concerning your car is the neighbourhood. There are a lot of young men, mostly (north) Africa, hanging around in the streets during night time. It did not feel save to park your car in such streets. My girlfriend did not want to go outside alone in the evening/night.
The metro stops 50 metres from the hotel and in 20 minutes you are at the Louvre.

I should have listened to the one review that mentioned soiled sheets but figured, what are the odds that something that disgusting would happen to us? We took pictures as proof. Gigantic, bloody stains on the comforter, blotchy yellow stains and cigarette burns on the fitted sheets UPON ARRIVAL. As proof, we took pictures and will upload them. Like the other reviewer, they refused to change out sheets because housekeeping only works within certain morning hours and they couldn't give us new bedding. We slept on the top layer the first night on top of towels...horrific. The location of the hotel is shady, the surrounding area felt unsafe with a lot of suspicious men hanging around each corner and we are not weary or paranoid people but still consider the area unsafe. House cleaning knocks on average 4-5x per morning, the "do not service our room" sign means nothing and twice they opened the door while we were dressing. Please spend an extra $30-$50 per night and stay away from this hotel. The ONLY and I mean only positive is that it is steps from the Hoche stop on the metro, but it is still 20 minute commute into the main city of Paris. We made our complaints about the sheets in a respectful manner and were only met with indifference. The staff is rude and unhelpful. PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES OF THE BLOODY SHEETS, it's enough to turn you away.

We stay here for 5 nights. We think is good location. Easy to get something close to supermarket. Close to metro. The stuff are friendly. The room are clean. We had the problem the light switc came off and the stuff took care of it in a few min. She gave us the another room. We stay as a family. We got what we expected.

Room Tip: What you pay for is what you get.

We spent 8 nights in this hotel. I must say, it is generally OK. The beds are very comfortable. Our room was quite calm. It was possible to open the window and have some fresh air although outside there was air-condition equipment and it worked quite noisy.
We have big room – for 4 persons with quite big bathroom – there was a heating in the bathroom and it was good, as the weather was quite clod and it was nice to go to warm bathroom.
They change towels everyday however every day they were forgetting that we were four in the room so I had to go to reception and asked for fourth towel.
People in the reception are very nice and helpful.
Breakfasts are free for children under 10 and it was nice. Breakfasts were OK. There was good coffee – that is not often in the hotels. The staff in the restaurant was more checking if the clients are not taking sandwiches with them than if there is everything on the table so sometimes we had to wait 10 minutes for bread, yogurt, crapes or ham. But I must say everything was tasty and fresh.
We wanted to visit Paris and for this location of the hotel is very good - there is a metro station in 50 m and a bus stop - 300 (when you want to come back from the city center). Next to the hotel there is Leclerc so we could make small shopping there.
