Hotel de la Jatte

Nice hotel, staff was always friendly to us.
The rooms are not very big but still ok for a hotel in Paris, after all they were clean and pleasant.
The breakfast was ok too.
It's true that it is 20 minutes to walk to the nearest metro station, but we could deal with it because the hotel is nicely situated, next to the seine in a green environment.

No further complaints, it made our trip to Paris complete!

The first time you see the hotel it really doesn't look that bad. For French standards it looks quite nice. But when we went to our room, the doorhandle didn't work, and juist fell off the door. No one in the hotel ever did anything about this during our stay.

The room wasn't that bad, it looked quite nice, but it was very small, and we even had a 'cosy room', a standard room is even smaller (allthough I don't see how that is possible...).

The bathroom isn't that small, allthough it was quite an adventure to sit on the toilet because it was placed in such a small nook, it wasn't almost possible to take some toiletpaper, unless you are a very very tiny person... ;-)

The breakfast wasn't to bad for French standards, but you had to be very quick, or there wouldn't be anything left. The last day we slept in a bit, and when we come down, there was nothing left and it was only 9 o'clock. The women who were working in the breakfast room it always looked like they were working in slow motion. And you always had to ask everything. All the stuff was just standing there in the kitchen and not in the breakfast room.

What we really didn't like about the hotel was the very long walk to the first metro. After a day visisting Paris walking for miles to your hotel is the last thing you want to do.

Overall the hotel wasn't that bad, but I don't think I'll come here again...

The area is lovely and Neully-sur-Seine is especially charming, though the hotel is basically only accessible by taxi or a very, very long walk from the Metro.

I realize the hotel is in a park-like setting next to a slew, but the insect problem was significant. Lots of flies in the entry area and mosquitoes in our room, which made sleeping difficult. One does not expect to need a mosquito net in Paris!

Again, it is Paris, so you expect a small room, but not this tiny. Also, the bed seemed smaller than a standard double. Housekeeping had vacuum hoses in the corridors throughout both days we were there.

The from desk, especially in the evening/at night were useless, inattentive and even rude. And, they could not or would not make change (Euros to euros, not currency exchange.)

Even though this hotel is not very expensive it is overpriced and by far the worst hotel experience we have ever had in Paris.

Also, they wanted 5€ per hour for WiFi: pretty much robbery in this day and age and ridiculous for a hotel that claims to cater to business!

For the business travelers who look forward to staying close to the La Défense business district or any other company located in the area for a week or less, Hotel De La Jatte offers reasonable accomodations with a friendly staff, an acceptable breakfast and a just-enough room size. The neighborhood is served with local markets and restaurants (kudos to La Guinguette de Neuilly and even more kudos to Caffé de La Jatte, both are just a few blocks away) and has a beautiful and peaceful setting that does not resemble Paris much.

Nice hotel outside of Paris, very clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Nothing much to say about the neighboorhood, it's Neuilly, so very "bourgeois", nothing to do at night, but it's cosy, green, clean and very safe at night.

Room quite small (but in Paris, it's always the case), very clean, bathroom a bit tired though (some rusty spots). Very effective double windows and airco (so quiet nights were ensured ...)

Great breakfast area on the groundfloor (in a veranda), very well served: buffet with fresh pastries, bread, cheese, cereals and all you can ask for a good & varied breakfast.

Major minus of this hotel is that it is really far away from the center, and far away from the subway (15 min. walk). The first day you enjoy the stroll along the Seine, but after 3 days of non-stop walking, I wish I had a hotel in town. But as we went by car (very easy to reach and park there) and had a very good deal, no complaint on this, we knew that.

All in all, a good stay, though I prefer a hotel in the center. That's a choice to make.

I went to hotel de la jatte with my girlfriend for two nights. We took the cosy room. For Paris you get a lot for your money, which was brilliant as I was quite broke at the time but desperately in need of a weekend out of the UK. The bathroom was lovely and clean and a decent enough size. The bedroom was a modest proportion, but clean and very nicely decorated. The reception where more than helpful and the public transport links where good, with the bus stop directly outside the hotel. The only down side is that after 11-12pm it is extremely difficult to get back as the public transport shuts down and it is one huge walk back to the hotel. It is not the easiest of hotels to get around Paris from, but doable if you don’t mind the walk. Otherwise I really enjoyed my stay and went back to the UK in much higher spirits.

Spent 3 nights at the begining of June in this lovely hotel just outside of the main centre of Paris. Staff very freindly and helpful, speaking far better English than we did French. Breakfast was superb. Our room was at the front so overlooked the Seine. Really lovely area, so quiet. Bus link right outside the hotel to the central areas/metro/RER etc. or lovely stroll along the Seine (10 mins max) to Metro station. Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Central Paris is only a few moments away, no waiting at all for Metro or RER etc. Some areas can be pricy for eating/drinking but the areas around Notre Dame are great at night, offering 3 course meals starting from 10 euros. Street entertainers on many corners. Loved it! have recommended the hotel to several people and would love to go back.
