A really bad cheesecake at a restaurant that dares to call itself "Le New York. How dare they? It was a gelatinous mess. And to think locals seem to like this. They clearly have never been to NY.
The pecan pie was ok and brownie was insipid. All of this followed a very average American style meal. My bacon cheeseburger was ordered medium rare but came out medium, the bun was useless and the cheese resembled cheese spread. A little weird. The fries were good. The chili came with nacho chips stuck in the top like a flower. More than strange.
Our waitress was pleasant and tried to defend the owner's desserts but came up a little short. The atmosphere is fun for a Friday dinner five minutes from home. But don't go for good food.
