Found this restaurant via Trip Advisor and was a short walk from our hotel. What a find! We went early on Tuesday evening on the off chance of a table and received a warm welcome. Our French isn't the best but didn't have to worry as the menu was explained to us and we went with the house recommendation of falafel and houmous to start with and followed with the trio of meats finished with baklava all washed down with a very nice Lebanese red wine. The restaurant quickly filled up and most people were welcomed like part of the family. Madeleine was delightful and popped through from the kitchen on numerous occasions inbetween cooking. A selection of customers also popped in to collect takeaway orders. If I lived near Chez Madeleine I wouldn't do much cooking either. I would happily travel from the other side of Paris to dine there too. Well worth a visit.
