I stayed at this hotel for three nights with my two teenagers in august and what a fab experience we had. We had a clean room, a lovely powerful shower, tv and some of the most helpful staff that I have come across on my travels. The breakfast was good for the price with a good range of cold options and there was plenty of brioche, croissants and nutella available we pleased the kids. The hotel is very close to the bus station and underground and also right next to the eurolines bus terminal, so for anyone going to Paris by coach this hotel is a great option. It is also next to a shopping centre with subway and mcdonalds on your doorstep and also a huge supermarket, great for getting supplies for your picnic in one of Paris's parks or by the Seine. There is also a little takeaway stand right outside the doors thats does acceptable crepes and burgers at a reasonable price. The only conservation I have is that the area looks a little dodgy with a number of groups hanging around outside the shopping centre and the bus station and a number of eastern european beggers, however there was never any problems with these people and I never felt unsafe, even when coming back to the hotel late at night. On the plus side, the hotel is only a about 15 minutes on the underground to the centre of Paris and only two stops to the famous Pere Lachaise cemetary if you fancy a look at the likes of the last resting place of Jim Morrison and Oscar Wilde. I paid just over 100 euros for the three of us for three nights...a bargain in Paris.....and I would definately recommend this hotel as a budget choice. One last tip....if you have young children and are thinking of going to Paris with a buggy then consider how you will travel around. The underground is not set up for young children and most stations have lots of steps. We witnessed a number of people struggling with buggies in the stations. Have a great trip!!

Budget hotel, located close to the Paris Bd. Périphérique and Gallieni metro station.
Rooms are ok, not big, but comfortable for a couple of days.
Private bathroom, sound proof windows and a TV are standard in the rooms.
The hotel has a private underground parking (costs approx. € 15 per day).
The hotel surroundings certainly need maintenance.
We stayed several times in this hotel (formerly Etap), but it is getting worse every time.

Cleanliness is very very poor, dusty and dirty in room and bathroom. Tv didn't work until reception came to fix it. No towels in room at all, had to ask for towels and was challenged by reception that there were towels - there defiantly was not! Bed and pillows too hard, very little sleep. Toilet seat and shower broken. Customer service poor. Two positives, location to get to Paris and Disneyland; and close to shop and metro but area isn't very nice. For long stay, more than 2 days, I would not recommend; we couldn't bear to stay full 5 nights. This is a budget hotel so don't expect too much, however getting the basics wrong is not even worth the cost. Accor hotels should be ashamed to put their name to this hotel.

first things first, this was booked as the cheapest place to stay overnight as i was driving down to spain, i purposefully didn't want to spend much as it would only be for one night and i just needed a stop fro myself and my family.
i've stayed in a few ibis's before but never a budget. the rooms (we had 2) were small but clean and adequate. my only complaint would be the air-con (or lack of). we arrived on a warm night (26 c) and the only other option was to open the window. however, this wasn't great as the hotel is right next to a number of main roads (and the perepherique, which is never qiuet!).
on the plus side, there is a secured car park (chargeable) and it was in the right location for me.
it was also VERY cheap!!
i probably wouldn't stay here again, i'd rather pay a bit more for some better accomadation but if money is your main concern then it serves a purpose.
oh, btw, getting into the car park is a pain with sat nav!!!

Stayed here last April, i'm feeling very grateful to choose this Hotel, as a Budget traveller with my other 3 persons Family, The Hotel really meets my demand as i need a cheap 4-adult persons room with ensuite bathroom, and also a free wi-fi! its a big bonus for us to keep connected!. And the most important is, despite the located is not close to the city center and the tourist attractions, it really easily accessible by a Metro (Gallieni Station) which just located at the Building in the front of the Hotel, on that Building there's lot of choice of fast food (Mcd's,Subway, etc.) And my choosen one is the Auchan Supermarket, as i always need a cheap private label brand product while traveling, some how it offers late night discounted grilled chicken!. Overall the room was clean, the 4 person room conssist of 2 separate rooms with a HDTV in each Room, the bathroom is big enough for a budget hotel and works well. Somehow people may need a better service or a cleanliness for a budget hotel, but this already really suit and fit my needs as i need just for sleep comfortably, it doesnt matter for the transport as the fare its still the same (zone1-2) comparing the other hotel at the City Center it's easy too for Disney or CDG airport). For me The rate under 100/night is better than you book a more expensive 2 double rooms, or a slightly-different rate of 4 person provate/dorm rooms with shared bathroom at the city center. However, this is my first experience at Ibis Budget, but my impressions was so positive, i've planned to stay at Ibis Budget London, Manchester, and Amsterdam in a next few months, and hope it will be a good experience, just like this.

basically if you book an ibis budget don't be surprised if you don't get a four poster bed and gold plated décor. It's very clean, the rooms are adequately sized, and noise-wise we had two different rooms on two different floors and none of our group had issues.
Having said that, one night we were thoroughly entertained by an evening brawl taking place in the square below, so the stay wasn't totally noise free, however the youths quickly dispersed.
Undeniably the best element of the stay was the shower head, which I can honestly say is a reason alone to book this hotel alone- IT CHANGES COLOUR, WHEN YOU SHOWER IT'S LIKE A DISCO!!!
The only downsides of the hotel were the rude receptionists, watch out, as without our French, communication would have been non-existent.
Also location-wise it's not central paris by a long chalk, but is two mins from Gallini metro station which is linked to central paris, and is literally next door to a whole shopping centre, so mconalds, supermarkets and clothes shops are v close!
Lastly, the hotel is located around the back of the actual ibis, so don't make the same mistake as us and try and book into the ibis, only to be sent round the back to the budget. (It's actually around the back and up some steps that smell strongly of urine.)
