The town is a logical plave to break a lonf journey from the South, but Vierzon is a somewhat depressing place these days. Many shops are pemanently closed and the town has a feeling of being run down. This is despite efforts to smarten it up and improve the central road system. This restaurant is friendly and the food is basic, but well presented. If you end up here, you will get a decent meal, but I would aim to carry on a little and stop at one of the villages around Salbris, many of which have good local restaurants (eg Selles St Denis).
