On my way for a trip to Beaune in Burgundy from Paris, I stopped in Sens. I wanted to visit the cathedral of Sens. It was already late afternoon and I decided to stay in this charming little town. Next of the city hall is the "Hotel de Paris et de la Poste" a beautiful restored old hotel with updated, spacious and charming bed room. I had a great dinner with traditional Escargot, veal Kidney Vigneronne and fantastic Rum Baba.
My first stop at the door of Burgundy was a great experience and emerged me directly in to the French world.
