We drove for 6 hours from the UK south this was the half way stop off south. An awe inspiring building which has beautiful grounds. Our host greeted us upon arrival and immediately we felt welcome. We stayed in the medieval suit which is on the ground floor. All the facilities but steeped in french history, towering ceilings and huge shuttered windows. We booked a supper for the evening prior to arrival which was a joy and really a feast, exquisite. Choose you wine from the cellar to match your budget. If you are looking for something away from the normal B and B and don't want the usual this is a real joy. Breakfast was perfect fresh bread, home produce real coffee. Look the bottom line is that we stayed on the way back too based on the experience and would love to do it again. we say its a must.
