“Fantastic hotel in a fantastic location”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 20, 2012

The 'Presque Ile de Quiberon' is an amazing place to visit for a relaxing break, and the Ibis hotel has everything to enhance the 'chill out' factor. We (a group of bikers) had spent five hours on the road, travelling through some rather cool, wet and windy weather to get to Quiberon. Finding the hotel was simple, due to the excellent sign posting. The English speaking reception staff were extremely efficient and friendly. The room was very comfortable, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Wifi was available in the room at no extra cost.

Within Minutes of our arrival I decided that before visiting the bar, twenty minutes in the sauna would be a good move. My planned twenty minutes in the Sauna turned into 2 hours divided between sauna, steam room (hamam), swimming pool and jacuzzi. All these facilities are modern, well designed and very well maintained, and offered at no extra cost. At 9pm we went to the restaurant, and as it was Friday, there was an abundance of fresh locally caught fish and shell fish. A variety of menus was available, and the quality and presentation of the food would put many 5 star establishments to shame.

I will definitely visit this 'flagship' Ibis hotel again, perhaps for a cosy romantic weekend, or to recharge the batteries. Having booked several weeks in advance of the trip the double room cost a very reasonable €75 per night.

The hotel has a good sized car park, welcomes dogs (for a modest fee) and is a very child friendly place. There are some wonderful sandy beaches within a short walk as a variety of bars and restaurants, shops, banks etc. Within a twenty minute drive are the standing stones at Carnac, and the town of Auray, with its charming old river estuary port.

Two night stopover on way south in France. Location was excellent, after initially finding the hotel. The neighbourhood was quiet, the nearby area ideal for walking etc.. The port area with restaurants was within walking distance. Some local excellent restaurants.

What fantastic value for money. Stayed for four nights in a duplex room 2 adults 2 kids all for @ £125 per night with full use of all facilities wi-fi etc included. Dinner in the restaurant was good and again good value. Quiberon is such a cool lilltle spot with this hotel a 20 minute walk from the main hub. I would highly recommend staying here.

The Ibis Quiberon is well situated within a few minutes walk of the sea front close to the Sofitel and in a quiet residential area. This was our second visit to the Hotel which is one of the best in the Ibis chain(it includes a swimming pool/sauna/jacuzzi and hamman) The rooms are comfortable and we were pleased with the quality of food in the Hotel Restaurant where staff were particularly friendly and helpful.

Its an Ibis just like a Travel lodge. Good for a few days to explore but not to stay
a long time as this is not a resort type of hotel. Close to nice beach and 15 min walk to Harbour/town

The hotel is a budget block quite a way from either the seafront or the town centre, and you'll need transport to get anywhere. The public areas of the hotel look fine, but the rooms are very small with minimal space to unpack. This hotel surely has to have achieved its ranking through price rather than quality. It is the only hotel I've stayed in to attempt to economise on doors. A single door can be hinged to work on the bathroom or the room, though clearly not both at the same time.
