For a tourist restaurant the food is exceedingly good and reasonably priced. There are 2 set menus with a variety of choices for 3 course varying starting at just over 20 euros. The Ile flotant pudding is to die for..... Recommend the outside terrace on the first floor as has great views, a nice breeze and lovely waitresses all of whom speak very good English

We've probably eaten here about eight times in the past ten years and never been disappointed with the food. Benodet depends heavily on tourist trade and the restaurants on the harbourside seem totally dependent on visitors. So, La Croisette caters almost entirely for tourists, so the menus and prices are set accordingly. But the food (unsurprisingly, mainly seafood dishes) is good and the service is reasonably quick.

Try to get a table on the first floor, overlooking the estuary and with fine views of the water-borne activity and the spectacular road bridge.

We ate here 3 times and the quality of the food was very good, the cod pie, monkfish, crabs and steaks were particularly nice it was a little bit pricey but it's on the harbour front, and you get what you pay for. There were no complaints, the service was good, they were attentive - good English was spoken here if you need it. One of the waiters was a little 'too cool for school' and impatient with my rusty French - he reminded me of the Sasha Baron Cohen character - Bruno. I would definitely recommend this restaurant, they sometimes have a live jazz band in the evening, it's situation by the harbour is beautiful.

Over priced and lacking in atmosphere found the waiter to be a little condescending of my French - which I thought I spoke quite well!
