Peaceful and serene: the location is wonderful. The hotel is on the shore of a little volcanic lake, whose still waters reflect the mountains and the wood around and above the lake. The hotel has a terrasse on the lake where you can relax in the afternoon sun listening to the cows' bells, while the kids explore the lake shores.
Madame Leclerq is a nice lady, full of a quiet charme and quite unflappable. Monsieur Leclerq is an amusing host and also a good chef: I strongly advise his Molleux au chocolat with the strawberry sauce. Breakfast is unbelievable: fresh butter, homemade strawberry jam, fresh and savoury bakery.
Rooms are adequate in size and very simply furnished, no carpets. Ask for rooms facing the lake (front rooms); bathrooms are very little and basics; no lift.
On the whole a wonderful stay, especially for the atmosphere
