This hotel is easy to miss as it's one block back from the main street. The rooms are basic (well it's a 2 star and that's reflected in the price) but very clean and with comfortable beds.
What sets this hotel apart is the excellent food, hospitality and attention to detail. The main public rooms downstairs (restaurant & lounge) have been refurbished very stylishly making the most of the original art-deco architecture.
Tony, who runs this hotel with his wife is an excellent cook so make sure you have dinner there at least once. And the breakfasts are considerably better than you expect to find in the average french 2 star.
