Escaping the rain by taking a trip to the end of the tram line, popped in here around noon with nothing more than a coffee and a snack in mind but quickly seduced by 12.50 euro formula 2 course lunch and the chance to people watch. Only two tables occupied when we sat down but it filled up quickly, confirming our choice.
Starters were obvious (tuna and avocado, but delicious) and interesting (lentils in vinaigrette with cured ham) and mains of fishy cheesy concoction and faux filet just hit the spot on a gloomy day. Excellent wine by pichet and by the glass.
Special mention for random tiling in toilets, where orange blocks containing English washroom words are scattered about for no real reason. Bizarre, but something to talk about.
Not a lot else to draw you to Pessac Centre, truth be told, but we went happily on our way.
