This little restaurant was a rather surprising find. Its menu was one of the most exciting of all the menus I read in Sarlat (which mostly consisted of duck-based dishes!). All of the ingredients were fresh, which really enhanced the flavours of the meal, and the presentation was fantastic.

The foie gras starter I ordered was potentially the best cooked (and best tasting) foie gras I have ever had. My one complaint about the meal is that the portion size were perhaps a bit too generous and I was not able to fit in dessert!

We stumbled on 'L'Adresse' purely by chance during our last evening in Sarlat and what an excellent find it proved to be.

We were attracted by the menu outside the small Bistro. On entering, there were very few people eating there, but very soon the restaurant started to fill up. Before too long the restaurant was busy, but even so, the service was good. The restaurant seemed to be run just by two people, the person cooking in the basement and the young lady who took the orders. She was very friendly, helpful and professional; she seemed to find time to have a chat to all of her clients. She didn't get fazed by the influx of unexpected customers.

We chose the 21 euros menu of 3 courses, which turned out to be very good value for money. Each course was of excellent quality. All the produce was very fresh, well presented and cooked to perfection. We enjoyed the regional aspect of this inclusive menu. The starter of foie gras accompanied by salad was very simple, but superb. The duck I ate for my main course was very tender, and the sauce harmonised with it well. The helpings were very generous. The local red wine that we drank with it was also without fault.

It seems a pity that this address isn't much nearer ours, as we would certainly be frequenting it often if it was.

What a treat! The set menu with the Sarlat classics of foie gras and magnet canard at lunchtime where outstanding. Perfectly prepared and presented and wonderful taste. Not a hint of greasiness experienced in the larger tourist establishments. Gluten free did not phase them and they were knowledgeable and served imaginative alternatives where necessary, most just leave off the unsuitable things and provide no alternative. Recommended!

I had lunch here with a family group after reading previous reviews. The waitress was happy to rearrange tables to seat six of us plus baby. Most of us had the set lunch menu option which was really good value at 16 euros for a starter (lovely little smoked salmon toasts with salad) and a main (the best pork I've ever tasted). Others had burgers and fries which were also very well received. The service was friendly and relaxed - our waitress even offered to take a group photo for us. Situated slightly back from the bustle of the main shopping street in the old-town part of Sarlat. Would definitely visit again.

A small friendly bistro on the edge of old Sarlat. Really good wholesome cooking (duck but much more) at good prices (€21menu) along with sensible wine selection. Can sit outside if you wish. Nice location just out of the tourist drag. You get well looked after here & don't feel rushed or taken for granted. We love good food & would certainly eat here again.
