A very good, small Asian restaurant just outside the old town. Excellent value and popular with locals for takeaways. Food very tasty, good range of starters, and good value. A nice break from the ubiquitous duck and foie gras!

Petit Saigon is on an amazing street, in a sensational area amidst true heavyweight champion food, yet seems to settle for the ever so typical expansive asian menu with Vietnamese, it's trading selling point, Japanese (sushi) Chinese (???) & Thai (?????) which radiates the 'jack of all trades, master of none' as eloquently as ever. The salad we had (prawn, peanut & glass noodle) was ok. It lacked the freshness anticipated from traditional Vietnamese food despite the proclamation of P.S. Chef. We ate a noodle salad which held minimal taste and one meat stick which while tender and flaveraome tended to be more fat than meat. Their intentions were good but they sadly could not deliver on their excellent homelands reputation. Eat their if you're in extreme need of asian food. But stick with what they know you know you know about what they know about food, trust me.

This restaurant is fantastic but so popular with the locals that you have to be prepared to wait for dinner a bit as they have to fill all the take out orders in addition to those from the customers at the restaurant. Don't miss it!

I found this restaurant to be “Very Good” for a Vietnamese restaurant in the heart of the Dordogne. We sought this place out because we wanted a change from the type of French cuisine you typically find in this area. We love Vietnamese and eat it often in the Orange County (California) Little Saigon area where the dishes are served in a more authentic fashion.

Nevertheless, Ludovic who served and his Vietnamese wife who cooked, did a good job in their very small restaurant serving up several tasty courses including the eggrolls, lemon beef, and ginger chicken. While the menu is limited and catered to French tastes, the prices were very reasonable. We drove all the way from Souillac and were not disappointed.
