Character hotel; nice place to look at but could do with a bit more attention to the rooms and pool loungers.
Our room was a bit sparse – double bed, small bedside tables, one single bed, table with 3 chairs, 2 chest of drawers, separate loo to the bathroom. It did have a dishwasher, toaster, microwave, 2 hot plates, fridge freezer (which didn’t really ‘fit’ in the room placed at the bottom of my daughter’s bed!) but NO KETTLE, no A/C or fan, no safe, no hairdryer – but you can borrow one. Good to have some kitchen facilities as eating out is very expensive hence can do own breakfast, lunch and some dinners. Bathroom a bit on the small side, towels small and thin.

Villa is divided up into many different Apartments and Studios – they provide towels and loo rolls to start but after that if you want your room cleaned and replenished you have to pay extra. Located about 15mins from sea front but pleasant enough stroll although not so good later uphill when the Park lift has stopped working at 10pm! Located in very nice area with other character buildings in the neighbouring streets. Wifi reception good in room.

Pool area is nice however loungers are flimsy plastic and have broken just where you sit! Most uncomfortable – time these were fixed I think.

Beaches not crowded and you can drive further down the coast for some more deserted ones. Make sure you visit Dunes du Pyla early for the least crowded experience – definitely worth going.

I stayed in this really nice hotel 4 days in August and it was a great choice.
15 minutes away from city centre / seaside, on top of a hill near a beautiful park, perfect if you have a dog cause it has a dedicated area for animals to run.
There is also a free lift that take you down from the park to the city centre so that you avoid sloppy hill when coming back home.
Breakfast is not included but its 8€ are well worth it with plenty to eat and drink.
Staff is very nice too.

On arriving at the Villa, you realise you are in the nicest part of town Ville D'hiver is a collection of stunning 19th century "my house is bigger than yours" excess! The Villa Regina is also a beautiful edifice. It's now divided into lots of self contained studios. Ours had a Kitchen area , microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer, Sofa/Bed plus a Double bedroom, and separate toilet and Bathroom. Not stunning but clean and comfortable, although the bed was really firm for those of you with any back issues, I would check this before booking. theres is no restaurant or bar, just a breakfast room, but seriously, you shouldn't need to cater here, Arcachon is packed full of great restaurants and bars, from the cheap and cheerful to the haute cuisine variety. Also it' s great to just buy a load of stuff and eat on the wonderful beaches. There is a nice pool here also, if you want a lazy hour or so before heading out. The location is perfect for walking into Arcachon, although some steep climbs back for those of you less able. So overall, a lovely setting in a beautiful if a bit faded building, with ok rooms. We paid 90 euros per night inc breakfast, which is about right

We were there for only one night but this is a nice hotel with a very friendly staff and huge rooms. Most people go there for extended stays.

The bed was a little old and hard but otherwise, everything was very good. Plenty of parking, free wifi and lovely gardens and a small swimming pool.

When in Arcachon, stop at Brasserie Le Commerce on thursdays. The food is okay but on thursday evening, they have free wine tasting so you can enjoy as many glasses as you like and it's on the house.

Excellent location in an upmarket and very quiet part of town. Very friendly staff. Walk to town and beaches. Studio apartments with all the equipment you would expect. Good value for money.
