Le Bassano is a approx 15/20 min walk from the main town but is easily ambled via the boardwalk which takes you straight there. I'm so glad we did venture down there as we'd become a little tired of the very average food in the town itself.
We didn't book, were seated immediately and had the best food of our stay. The children's pizzas were the best we had in France. Our starters were amazing, risotto balls were light and so tasty, bresola salad was gorgeous. I also had fish for main and it was perfectly cooked. Service was great too.
Decor wise its a bit Hackney, industrial trendy - we liked it - it's a perfect place for people with families too, casual but really good food. Highly recommend.
