We very much enjoyed our stay at Les Chambres d'Hôtes Dissler in September 2006. If you're looking for atmosphere, history and style, this is a great stop for you in Riquewihr.
The hotel was built in 1607. (I think their web site says 1610, but a stone fireplace at the hotel has the carved date of 1607. ) Ask your host how to use the ancient, ancient rope to help you get down the circular stairs--double-time.
We stayed in a small "suite" filled with antiques--and a great four-poster bed. Our traveling companion was in a room that could have looked the same during WWII.
The hotel's antiques are for sale. There's even a dim antique "shop" in the back of the courtyard. Some meals are served in the courtyard; we couldn't figure out the schedule, though. There's also a pleasant restaurant inside.
A young couple owns the business and are very hard-working and accommodating.
This is not a plush, pristine, "luxury" hotel. It was comfortable enough and clean enough. The antiques aren't of the "fine antiques" variety--I'd call them fun antiques. Oh...and the price was more than reasonable.
We loved our stay at Les Chambres d'Hôtes Dissler. It was romantic and an adventure.
