At Euro86/ nite, this hotel has all the pusses with no minus points.

Staff were very friendly and courteous:

Room was more than adequate to fulfill your needs:

Location was great and near to major attractions and train station:

Breakfast was included in the price and again very good choices...

A really lovely place to stay: I'd go back again with no hesitation to recommend to other people...

After hours of seaching for the perfect 'route du vin' village to stay, there was Hotel Le Riquewihr. Well-heeled atmosphere, wonderfully clean, wired and comfy rooms...and a spa! The optional breakfast was far better than most. We stayed in the suite with a loft and had marvelous views from the top floor hatch windows. Without hesitation - this is where you want to relax before hitting the cobblestone steets of Riquewihr!

Room Tip: We had 3 in our group and the split floor suite was awesome.

I was here as part of a group on a wine tour and had an airy double room with a pleasant outlook to trees and the hills beyond. The hotel is located a short walk outside the gates to Riquewihr, one of the most picturesque of the villages on the Route des Vins. It is generally clean and well-equipped with a friendly and helpful staff. The breakfast room is spacious and airy and the choices ample. A serious criticism is that the bath in my room (and others) had a hand shower, but no wall bracket, no shower curtain, and no hand rails. On my first morning, I decided to have a bath, and (being in my 80s) found it extremely difficult and even dangerous to get out of the bath. For the rest of my stay, I washed down as best I could and left the staff to dry the bathroom floor.

Room Tip: I was in Room 23. Roomy and well equipped, but see my comments re the bathroom.

As previous reviews have stated the hotel is located on the edge of town, with good parking, and a fairly short walk up the hill to the town centre. The hotel is right on the edge of the vineyard with lovely views from front facing bedrooms, although some may be disturbed by limited traffic noise.

It's a pity Trip Advisor don't have a "good" classification because in fairness to the hotel my giving it an "average" score seems a little harsh. However could not really say it was "very good".

On the plus side everything is very clean, friendly staff and a really good breakfast. On the downside the bedroom was a little tired, the air conditioning ineffective, and the plastic mattress protector horrid! The bathroom had a tub with hand held shower attachment. I cannot see it would have been too big a problem to put a bracket to hold the shower and a screen?

The town of Riquewihr is a delight and most definitely worth a visit.

Stayed 4 nights in Le Riquewihr as part of guided wine tour. Fantastic location less than 5 minutes walk from city center. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms clean, functional and linen/towels changed daily. Buffet cereal/pastry breakfast with plenty of choice and tasty coffee/juice. No room safe but can leave documents with reception. Good hotel security (pass code to open doors after 22:30 in addition to room key).

Room Tip: Need to request walk in shower on booking if needed as limited numbers available. I had no problems...

This was a very clean, sort of corporate feeling hotel just outside town (maybe a 7 minute walk to the center of Riquewihr). The staff were efficient and as friendly as they needed to be. Nice spread for breakfast. Room was reasonable. There was nothing to love about this hotel, but nothing to dislike either. If I'd picked a hotel myself, I would have paid a bit extra and stayed within town, but this was perfectly adequate. If you want something romantic, this is not the place. If you're looking for someplace that is inexpensive and walking distance to town, bingo. It does have a lovely view of the vineyards across the street.

Cheerful modern hotel with clean, comfortable room, a short walk outside the city walls of the village of Riquewihr and with great views of the vineyards. The bed was a bit firmer than I like but we were here on the second night of a Sherpa walking tour and we were too tired for the bed to make much difference! Good strong wifi signal in the room we were in. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Dinner was provided in our package, and was at a restaurant (Le Tire Bouchon) in the village; the food there was great. The buffet breakfast in the hotel was fresh and tasty. No complaints!
