“A little out of the way....”
Reviewed November 1, 2013

We had a nice stay here, prebooked by the organizer of our cycling trip. The Hotel was more modern than most we had stayed in but was clean and comfortable. The Hotel is a bit of a walk out of the town centre, about 10 - 15 minutes. We relaxed beside the pool with some Alsace wine on our arrival, which was very pleasant even though the weather was cool and drizzly. The Algerian/Italian hostess at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was busy but a good selection of items. Not a lot of character at this Hotel but very functional.

We stayed 3 nights while exploring the Alsace region. It is centrally located, which makes for easy access to the other villages. The breakfast was varied and well stocked. Service extremely helpful and accommodating. Rooms and grounds were clean an well kept. Each night we walked into town at night for dinner(with a baby in a buggy) and never once felt unsafe. Overall we were quite pleased.

On a busy Saturday night, there seemed to be only one member of staff on duty, who was doing a fantastic job looking after reception, running the bar, taking towells to the pool, etc.Cheerie and most helpful.
The cheaper rooms are OK, if slightly basic. The pool and garden were fine, but the situation in the middle of a commercial estate is a bit odd.

This hotel is modern, clean and very comfortable. The reception staff are lovely and more than ready to tell you about the area. Our room and bathroom were excellent, a little cosy, but very functional. It is only about 15 minutes walk from the old town but it is not a nice walk, we did not feel comfortable doing it at night.

Dear customer,

First, I really would like to thank you for telling your impressions about your stay in our hotel to all the TripAdvisor’s travel community.

You said that the hotel location was not great. Could you precise what you did not appreciate? However, the fact that the hotel is located in the periphery of Obernai offers many advantages, such as: the calm, a verdant landscape, and also the fact that you have not the annoying noises due to the belfry and the footsteps echoing on the cobblestones…!
Concerning the walk to go and to go back from the old town, you are right. That is why we usually advice not to take the small (but beautiful) path along the river because it is not enough enlightened, so we advocate to take a path along the road which is maybe more "secured".

Furthermore, we are pleased to see that you have really appreciated your stay in our hotel. Receiving so many compliments really delights us, it is always a pleasure.

We would be happy to welcome you again soon and I thank you once again for your opinion.

A very convenient hotel once you travel by car. Very easy to find, with easy access to the wine route.
It is very near the town's industrial area, but nevertheless, its garden is quite large, so it feels like you are in the countryside. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but they are happy for you to enjoy their pool area and bring your own food. They do have a bar, so you can easily accompany your dinner with a cool alsacian wine !

Room Tip: All loft rooms were booked, but the family room we got was quite spacious and comfortable. The was a...

Very nice hotel, well located from downtown Obernai. You can either drive, it takes 3 minutes to get the main (free) parking or walk down there, along the river, through a charming pathway.
Excellent welcome and service by the hotel team.
Accommodation is neatly set, very modern, but with a clear good taste.
Excellent morning breakfast, whilst a little too expensive, I'd say.
A very good choice anyhow, particularly if you can enjoy the garden.

This is a great hotel if you are exploring Alsace by car. It is slightly outside the old part of Obernai, which means you do have drive into town - BUT that means it's easy to access, you have secure parking right in front, and there is a lovely garden and pool in which to relax after a hot day's sightseeing.

This is a modern building, so if you are a couple looking for a romantic stay in a half-timbered 16th-century house it may not be for you. We were there with two small children, so we wanted to be all in one room with lots of space. We took the suite/family room, which has a small kitchen, sitting area, double bed and balcony on the first level, and a huge room upstairs with a double and a single bed, 2 sofas, etc.

The staff is friendly, there's a cosy bar, and the buffet breakfast (by the pool) is excellent value
