The hotel is a bit tricky to find as it is in a pedestrianised area but you can get into the hotel from an underground car park. It is worth the effort to find it - I think this is the best value hotel I have ever stayed in - we paid 42€ for a twin room. The hotel is chic and smart, the rooms are spacious, modern and scrupulously clean. Excellent bathrooms, effective air-con, etc. The situation is wonderful - 1-2 mins walk from the central square. Excellent buffet breakfast. I could not fault it.

There are 3 things that makes this hotel perfect: Location, -location and errrrr.. location. It is a well run hotel with very friendly staff, fine rooms and a wonderfull breakfast buffet but the number one asset is the location. Out of the door 1 min walk and you are in the old town square with cafe's, restaurants, bistros etc. Perfect.
One drawback though. We had rooms at the 1. floor above the reception and they were a bit noisy and the Air condition was noisy too so eiter you lisened to THAT or the noise from the street -or you were soaked in sweat. Bu all in all it was a good experience.

A Beautiful, well maintained hotel in the heart of this charming city.
We took a cab from the station as we arrived late, but could easily have walked as it about ten minutes by foot. I can imagine it would be difficult to find by car as there are a lot of one way and pedestrianised streets but there is an underground car park with direct access to the hotel.
The receptionist was charming and recommended a great place to eat (it was 10:40 at night) - Restaurant HUG (pronounced OOG) which does simple grilled food but does it VERY well and stays open late.
The room was fairly small but spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. Bath and shower were great, plenty of hot water and good pressure and the bed was really comfortable.
The most outstanding thing about it though was the breakfast buffet. It is huge (8 different types of bread for example) and if you cannot find something you like then you are either EXTREMELY fussy or very unucky.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel - it scores highly in all categories and I will stay there again if I return to Mulhouse.

The Kyriad Hotel is one block from the Old City Hall and City Center. It is on a quiet pedestrian-only street. You can take Tram 1 to the Porte Jaune stop, and then only need to walk a couple ot blocks.
It was a great value, only 71 Euro, which included a terrific buffet breakfast for two. Our room was spacious and so was the bathroom.
There is a free Internet terminal in the lobby and the staff was very friendly and helpful.
For transportation, we purchased a one-day pass for the buses and trams. On weekends the pass is good for 24 hours, so we were able to use it Sunday morning too. The buses and trams go everywhere and often, including the Automobile and Train Museums.

I can recommend this hotel as a very nice, clean, pleasant place to stay. We got a triple room, which was really spacious and nice. The breakfast is great, too, which a very good choice of pastry, fruit, bread, youghurt, etc. The location is probably the most central, right in the middle of the shopping areas, with two great restaurants - one japanese, one chinese, not far away. The staff very pleasant and helpful. The only problem is to find the hotel, with a lot of one way streets, but once you enter through the underground parking ( if with the car), you are fine. I can recommend this hotel to anyone.

Very nice hotel, in an excellent location (a little difficult to find by car on a rainy night) and very nice clean room.
The front desk was very nice to point me a fantastic restaurant (you pay for it) that was open very late at night. I had a pleasant dinner and returned to my comfy room. The next day I decided to have breakfast in one of the many bakeries around the hotel.
Possibly the best choice in Mulhouse.

We chose to stay in this hotel based on the reviews at this website and we were not disappointed. This hotel Kyriad centre is probably one of the cheapest hotels we've stayed at, and the nicest for that price.
We took the most expensive type room (privilege) which cost € 73,-, excluding breakfast. The room was very large, the bathroom huge and there was a balcony with wooden table/chairs. The room has a/c, the beds are comfy, everything was very clean. Staff at reception are very helpful, in the lobby there's a computer with free internet use.
Breakfast is served at the 3rd floor and is average (€ 7,50). Just across the hotel is restaurant Paul which serves very nice food (breakfast too) and great coffee (and the cappuccino is the real thing with milk in stead of whipped cream); it's closed on Sunday.
There is a public car park underneath the hotel (Maréchaux), but no private parking. The hotel is right in the centre of Mulhouse, which is one of the best things about this hotel.
