This restaurant had a pleasant area outside, which we enjoyed in the heat of the day. On the corner of two streets and with a school directly across the road, there was plenty to watch. I started the meal with 12 escargots which were of a very good standard. My partner chose the wild boar terrine. This was quite dry but worked well with the accompaniments. For main courses, we both had the Salade Gourmande. This is a salad with foie gras, smoked duck and salmon – absolutely superb. My partner ordered the trio of chocolate mousse which was huge, so I HAD to help him out. We are not desert eaters, but this was probably the highlight of the meal. The coffee was good too. We enjoyed a couple of bottles of Grand Cru Riesling. Value was good.
