This is a small family-run restaurant with 32 seats and the chef owners, Pascal Schnubel and his son have been trained by no less than Paul Bocuse and Michel Bras, both 3 star Michelin chefs, among others.
There is a wide range of fixed menus ranging from 17 to 60€ and a very full à la carte menu. We chose the Regional Menu at 17€ and were delighted by the full but delicate flavours of the chicken fillet in riesling sauce with spaetzle and the Munster cheese with roasted cumin seeds. The dessert course was even better, a selection of house-made sorbets of quince, grapefruit and fruits of the forest which was a taste sensation.
Add to that fine local wines at reasonable prices and a very welcoming, friendly and efficient staff and you have an excellent meal which we will remember for a long time!
