This establishment has a three chimneys rating with Logis de France which inevitably means good cooking and comfort.

It is slightly away from the main tourist area by a couple of hundred yards and the rooms are located in an annexe behind the main bulding which guarantees peace and quiet. The rooms are small but adequate and each has a toilet and bathroom fortunately equipped with a full-sized bath for onece - fairly rare in France!

The buffet breakfast is very reasonably priced and provides a wide variety of rolls, breads, croissants, yoghurts, ham, cakes and other typical French items - and even smoked Black Forest style ham as well as fruit juices, fruit cocktails and jams. As much coffee as you want as well as a wide range of teas.

We did not lunch or dine here, but the food is reasonably priced and attracted many locals, always a good sign.

There is a locked parking area behind the building with a numerical code and lots of wine tasting and wine sales establishments within the immediate vicinity, as well as a wide variety of Alsatian speciality restaurants.

The village is historic, magnificent and well worth visiting.
