Hotel is very nice, clean and close to the city. You don't need a car. Jean Marc is very good and welcoming person, very helpful and always has answer for you. If I go to Propriano I stay in Claridge hotel again. Thank you Stana

Situated close-by the main streets, yet quiet rooms especially on the back side, free access to enclosed private parking area, good firm yet confy mattress, friendly staff yet poor breakfast with industrial food and highly priced (115eur) for such average standards.

This hotel is located in what appears to be a run-down part of the city of Propriano in Southern Corsica. And from outside, the hotel does not look too great.
However once we got our room, it turned out to be very nice and comfortable for a 3 star hotel and not that expensive.
Wifi worked, as well as the A/C. The room was quiet. There is a closed parking lot behind the hotel.
Staff was nice and breakfast was good.
The location is only 2 blocks from the main street with all the restaurants and stores

I found all the accommodation in Corsica to be relatively expensive, so was grateful to find this cheaper option, which was perfectly decent, if not anything to shout about. It is situated just above the harbour, so pretty convenient. The rooms aren't tiny, but they're not that large either, and have ensuing bathrooms that serve their purpose. Breakfast was alright, though nothing cooked and not included in the price.

Even after reading the negative reviews we decided to stop & look at this place, because it is located only 2 blocks from the central downtown area. It appears to have been recently renovated. Also offers free parking. Nice lobby & public areas. Room was certinaly OK & very clean. Furnished as most spartan 2 star properties. Paid 65 Euros for a twin, with a balcony overlooking the huge construction site next to the hotel, which will continue for another 1-2 years, so noise starts early. Other side of hotel faces houses & apartments, so there are no sea view rooms. The only problem was the closet. Apparently the new owners (?) decided to renovate the rooms & public areas, but left the room closets exactly as they were from the former run down place other guests have complained about. The inside of the closet had walls with falling plaster & smelled so strongly of mildew & mold, that we would not put our clothes inside for fear they would pick up the order. So we left the closets closed & had an OK room for 1 night otherwise. Had new small flat screen TV's, but no signal so it did not work. Management seems to be basically non-existent at this property. The man on duty at check in was friendly & helpful, but he left early & the replacement female could care less. Never entered the lobby throughout the stay when she was not outside on the balcony smoking, totally clueless about guests at the front desk waiting for someone. Replace her with someone who wants a job, & clean up the closets & you could have a very solid, well located, attractive 2 star property. Currently it is a hotel advertised as a 3 star, which it probably never was, being run rather sloppily. Would not return for that reason, but if you are in the area & want to stay directly downtown, the rooms themselves are quite acceptable.
