If you are in a romantic mood and searching for a good dinner with the right atmosphere than this is the place. This hotel and restaurant have the perfect setting for a romantic dinner. The sea with a view of Porto Vecchio in a surreal environment. We had a wonderful evening and everything was like a dream that came true. Yes the bill was high but look at the photos and you know what I mean. Just go!

the place has a beutiful sight on the portovecchio Gulf. Inside quite old-fashioned furniture and architecture, we were protected from wind from a transparent plastic quite umid and hot. Generally the food was very average at best, with the exception of the fish. I ordered a Fish, it was a sort of dorade. When I received the bill I was, at best, astonished: 150 EUR only for my fish! I admit the portion was very big, probably for 2, and it was very well grilled.

The restaurant is attached to a beautiful hotel overlooking the bay of PortoVecchio (it is on the Route de Palumbaggia, the road to the beach). The food is inventive French - we had the tasting menu, which was predominantly fish, - great loup de mer, breathtaking scallops - and was associated with a wine sampler with a different Corsican wine for each course, including two breathtaking whites, a red which was a Coriscan equivalent of a Sangiovese, and a nice botyrized muscat. The service was a bit slow. The meal took a long time, with more time between courses than we would have liked, but the menu warns you that cook takes time. All-in-all worth the journey, and a an amazing place on the beach.

Food is fine but literrally overpriced. Service is poor with unskilled person reciting their lesson without any passion. I would prefer them to say nothing and do their job properly. I had the bad surprise of finding some cooking paper in my pesto fish dish. I just received a light excuse from the waiter. I would have expected some commercial gesture like a free digestive or so but nothing. Wine is totally overpriced. I took an excellent Comte Peraldi 2007 cuvée du Cardinal but I paid more than twice of its value in the shop nearby!
The music atmosphere was poor and repetitive. I think we listened at least three times the same CD.
The only very positive is te scenic view to the Porto Vecchio gulf which is stunning!
