“Worth the climb”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 15, 2012

Fantastic views from the Chapelle de Notre Dame de la Sierre. You can walk there from Calvi or drive but if you walk you get the satisfaction of having made it to the top. We then walked back via the coast road into Calvi. Lovely views although there is no footpath so it's not the best place to walk - wouldn't advise it with children.

“Fantastic views of the bay of Calvi”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 5, 2012

A short drive out of Calvi on the southern coast road is this wonderful hillside chapel with the most fantastic view. Go early before the tourist coaches and you have the view to yourselves. There is a good annotated map table to show what you are looking at.

“Good walk”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012

We walked from A Merula apartments, up past La Villa hotel to the Chapelle every day of our holiday and then back down the main road back into Calvi. We loved the walk and it was a good view at the top. Whole walk takes about 2 hours. The Chapelle is also pretty.

“Long climb...”

Nelson sieged Calvi from here and the views are stunning. There is a footpath up the hill, which is for the brave but the only option if you don't have transport
