My wife and I have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions over the years and have always considered it to be the best in Calvi. The recently awarded Michelin star was long overdue in our opinion as the standard of cuisine and service is of the highest order. Taking this into account and the restaurant's location, prices are bound to be high but well worth pushing the boat out for.
At our latest visit the bill came to well over 300 euros, which we thought not unreasonable given that we received seven courses including lobster, sole and turbot and very attentive service. As always when in France we drank the local wines, which with the sommelier's help were perfect matches for the food.
A feature that impressed my wife was the provision of a stool for her handbag!
