We have been staying only one night in this hotel but we were quite amazed of how good it was for the price we paid. The rooms were simply decorated but clean and new.
We had a double room on the last floor with a balcony with a view on the see and pool.
Rita was very welcoming and nice; she advised us some places for diner. It was 5 minutes walking distance from the main city and Rita came to pick-up us at the port with no extra charges.
Place recommended!

Room Tip: last floor with pool and see view

I have just come back from a week in the Greek islands and had the pleasure of staying at Rita's Place in Ios.
We were picked up at the port as promised, despite our ferry being late and it almost being midnight. We were given a welcome drink and checked in quickly and even offered food, by Rita and her husband.
We stayed in Room 15, that was a suite. It had a large kitchen, dining area with sofa and a separate bedroom with bathroom that slept 3. The room was clean and functional and very spacious.

There were double doors from the bedroom and lounge on to a huge balcony, that ran the length of the apartment and to the side, with spectacular views over looking the bay.

Ritas is equidistant from the port and the village on the side on the hill. It's a 10 min walk up hill to the village. It's well signposted and Rita's husband even drew us a map.

They serve food and drinks throughout the day at Rita's, although the menu availability varies. It was the best Greek Salad that we had there and you're always served with a smile.

All in all it was a perfect stay. We had to cut it short by one night unfortunately, as the ferry schedule changed and it would have meant we would have missed our connecting flight from Mykonos. We were not charged for the last night by Rita which I thought was very reasonable and unexpected as I'm not sure they would have been able to let the room. I would definitely recommend and if I found myself in Ios again, I wouldn't hesitate at staying here again.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 15 which was very spacious and had great views.

Rita, her husband and the crew were very nice. Great rooms, Great views and modern. Seemed very new. Great pool. Food prepared was also nice for breakfast. Highly recommend. An easy walk to town and to the port. We booked three rooms and all were nice with perfect views and balconies. Bathrooms were also nice for Greece.

This place was more than I could ever imagine. The view was spectacular, the pool was amazing and it was so quiet compared to many other places I stayed. The rooms were quaint and did what they needed to do. I would recommend this place to many people.

Myself and five other girls stayed in Rita's rooms for 5 days back in July. It was recommended to us by friends. Rita and her family were extremely hospitable and made us feel very welcome.
She came down to the port to collect us from the ferry on the day of our arrival. Once we got to the hotel, the lady who works with Rita gave us a choice of any of the rooms that were available. As there were 6 of us there together we were able to choose three rooms that had a communal balcony. Once we got settled Rita gave us an overview of the town and had a map and brochures of everything for us. She had even drawn out directions to the main town which was a five minute walk away. I thought that this was a lovely gesture that most hotel owners wouldn't normally bother doing, but Rita constantly went out of her way to make us feel welcome.

Rita and her family also have a poolbar which does light snacks and they are extremely accomodating and would make snacks anytime for us. We really felt like we were at home staying there. The rooms that we had booked were basic (at a very reasonable price) and extremely clean. There was always hot water for showers and we had a fridge so that we could keep water and snacks in our room. The rooms were cleaned daily with fresh towels and the air conditioning came in handy too.

Likewise, the pool is lovely and again it is a very clean area. We went to the pool more than we did the beach because it was so lovely and relaxing.
I thouroughly enjoyed my time in Ios and thanks to Rita and family we felt very welcome. I really feel that they contributed hugely to us having a great holiday in Ios.

The hotel was lovely. We booked 3 rooms, the biggest one which I stayed in had 1 bedroom and one kitchen /living room with a nice big sofa, a table for four and a very big veranda that had a really nice view. The rooms were being cleaned daily and I was generally happy with the standards of the accommodation. The only issue we had was with the staff, Mrs Rita and her husband which were a bit rude/anti-social in my opinion. Otherwise I would give this hotel a 5* review, because it offers a nice accommodation at a reasonable price. Another thing to consider is that the hotel is a 10 minute walk from chora which is uphill and can get really tiring in combination with the really hot weather.

Aside from the fact that the hotel is lovely, with a big pool and deck to watch the sunset, clean spacious rooms, i would like to make a special mention of rita and her husband, who are very warm and helpful in every way. They transported us to and from the port and were particularly hospitable. The hotel has a warm welcoming feel. This would be the first place i would stay on a return visit. The prices are also very affordable. Our friend had a single room to himself at $20 euro.

Room Tip: The ones above the pool are higher up and have a nicer view, although they might be a little more ex...
