I stayed at Blue Sky for 13 nights in June 2013, having previously stayed there for a number of years and it is an excellent place to stay in Ios. The rooms are clean, the views from the balcony are breathtaking, Marousa the owner and her family are very friendly and make you feel part of the family, it is close the the Chora (5 minute strole) and close to Mylopatas beach (10 minute strole.
Definatly worth staying if you are going to Ios.
The best thing about this hostel is that it is situated really close to the beach (10 min walk) and the city (5 min walk). Nearly every room has an amazing view and the stuff is really nice and helpful! the fact that the prices stay low makes it an excellent spot to stay in the wonderful Greek island of ios.
I have already been 2 times and i am quite sure i will be visiting again!
stayed at the blue sky hotel for just over a week as soon as we got to ios port we were greeted by the owner and driven up to the hotel shown in to our room, it was very clean amazing view of the sea from our balcony. the hotel is located in between mylopotas beach and the town of chora (both only a short walk) me and my girlfriend came to ios to look for work for the summer and the owner kindly offered a few extra days at the hotel whilst we sorted out long term accommodation which we gladly accepted.
would strongly recommend this hotel too anyone and would definitely be staying here again!!!!
Stayed here for a week. The views speak for themselves. Rooms are clean a little on the tight size with space. TV channels are poor but who needs it in an area like this.
Town is 10 min walk from hotel and beach is 12-15 mins walk. Just the kind of place in Ios, come and go as you please.

I've travelled to Ios on four occasions, and I always stay at the Blue Sky Apartments. The location is half way between the Village and Mylopotos Beach, and a very pleasant 5 minute walk to the beach and the village. The port is also an enjoyable 15 minute walk away. Maroussa the owner, and her family are all very friendly and always make you feel welcome. Even Boss the dog is very friendly. The views from the balcony are breath taking of the Aegean, and very relaxing. The rooms are spacious, have air conditioning, televisions, and have a fridge.
