“Wow ! What a nice restaurant for our last night in Ios!”
Reviewed July 17, 2011

Excellent Chora view, the hill, the houses and partly Aegean sea at the West .
Mediterranean cuisine with its incredible smells and flavors all around.
The service is more than sufficient, fast and polite.
We have tried our custom made pizza, salads and pastas.Totally fresh and homely tastes!
Prices are reasonable and we have nothing to complain about.
Will meet you again in the future dear Pomodoro personel!

“Great Restaurant on Ios!”
Reviewed July 12, 2011

I've eaten at Pomodoro many times and it never disappoints. There is a downstairs restaurant, however I much prefer the roof deck. You get a view of town the the churches dotting nearby hills. The pizzas are thin crust and delicious and great for sharing, and the platter of dips is super tasty. They have really affordable pitchers of house wine. It's the perfect place to go for dinner and enjoy the beautiful weather. They have lots of different kinds of pizzas - all tasty.

“Pomodoro Italian has a brill atmosphere and great food.”
Reviewed September 23, 2009

As you walk into the Pomodoro you can not only smell the food wafting your way, but also feel as you enter the place that it has a unique atmosphere. The restaurant on the first floor is very well furnished and has its own seperate bar, then you walk up to the balcony restaurant by a very old style small spiral staircase. The balcony has lots of space and tables, and part of the balcony restaurant is under cover, which is where the second bar is, where we had our first drink, before ordering opur food. The menu was full of italian dishes, and the staff were all so helpfull in explaining all the ingrediants to the dish that you fancied.Well the food and drinks all went down well, the service of the manageress, who took the orders,Helen, who is a very pretty lass from england, and all the other staff was no less than excellent.I saw the Pomodoro on this tripadvisor page, and i have to say i am so glad i read about it by another reviewer, because its the best Italian restaurant that i have ever been to abroad, or at home.Me thinks I will be back on the beautiful island of Ios late August next year 2010, let anybody try and stop me, as I love the whole island.Had a great time, apart from a silly old englishman causing trouble and a middleaged woman Ogling, wide openeyed, staring at my friend for ages, who ignored her anyway.People who stare at you like the way she did, Ogle, think they can controll your mind by staring at you for long periods, and get you to have sex with them, but it did not work. Those sort of people are sick and dangerous to children and young people.Have been reading David Ikes book on holiday The Biggest Secret, you can learn a lot by reading, and its a good read.Reguards to Ios.See you next year. C James

“The best Italian food ever at the Pomodoro Restaurant.”
Reviewed May 15, 2009

The first time at this restaurant I had a Pizza, which was hand made to order, and was so light and full of flavours which melted in my mouth. The whole of the menu is great to read, and mouth watering as you do.The staff are all excellent and warm and friendly, and see to your personal request when ordering your food and drink, also they have a good wine cellar. Prices last year for a good plate sized Pizza was 8 euro 50 cents, but you are paying for quality at a reasonable price.Helen the manageress is a great host and always a welcoming smile awits you on entering the Pomodoro Italian Restaurant. Oh, and the Italian chefs are brought over from Italy for the season, that would be why the food is made to perfection.See you all in Ios 2009.Love to all my friends on Ios.
