The rooms are clean and average. I was surprised to see tube tv's as I am on the road very often and it struck me as odd. The wifi is painfully slow. I was on the 4th floor - back side, where,be warned, there is a train track with a level crossing. Every night around 1:30, 2:30 and 4 am had the train blasting its horn. The food in the restaurant is very good. The lounge staff are friendly and welcoming. But, due to the noise, I will have to stay elsewhere in the future.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for sharing your feedback on your recent stay with us. I sincerely apologize that we did not exceed all your expectations during your stay and that your sleep was restless. The poor internet I completely understand your frustration as a business person myself I understand what a necessity it is, the front desk of the hotel does keep hard wire cords and always please notify us of any WIFI issues so we can work with our IT department to have any issues resolved so the negative impact is minimal.
On a positive note I am pleased to tell you that the hotel is refreshing all of it's guest rooms to include 42" flat screen TV's, new triple sheeted beds with fluffy duve's and Keurig Coffee makers.
We would love for you to give our hotel another chance and when calling the hotel directly to book, please request a room at the front of the hotel. We do understand that we are a highway side hotel and their is a train track in our backyard which is hard to avoid noise.

Thank you again for taking the time to review our hotel as we strive to please and exceed all of our guests expectations.

Yours in Hospitality,

Scarlett Latulipe

Not bad at all for a an older Ramada. Price was higher than advertised on website. I should have made reservation online for price protection. Room was decent, clean and average. Next door was the restaurant that the front desk issued vouchers for a hot breakfast. But we did not partake of the breakfast. I would stay here again but...check out the other options first...at $130 for 1 bed I think you can get a better deal for a comparable room else where or upgrade for the same money.

This hotel just bustles with commerce but the rooms and service exceeded expectations so I rate is as very good. Breakfast at the adjoining Husky was included and meant to fill you up. Even on the 4th floor truck noise was heard but that's Grande Prairie. We has a suite which was greatly appreciated since we spent more time in the room.

Room Tip: A suite is recommended if you are staying a couple of nights.

Dear Guest,

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your recent experience at the Ramada with us. We are very pleased you enjoyed your stay and enjoyed your suite. I apologize it was loud but being just off a main highway in Oil & Gas country it is very hard to control. A room on the backside of the hotel may help with this on your next stay. We strive to please all our guests and look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Clairmont.

Our hockey team was invited to a tournament in Grande Prairie and this is the hotel we were booked into. There was a breakfast included with our room but you have to get a voucher from the front desk and go next door to the Husky truck stop to eat. Hotel was very close to the rink which we found convenient but overall I would prefer to stay somewhere further away that would offer more amenities.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback on our hotel with us. We are happy to hear that the staff were personable and accommodating during your stay. I apologize that the hotel did not offer the type of amenities to accommodate your team. Please know that we have started a Sports Team Promotion that has people very excited and if returning to the area anytime please inquire about this. The hotel does not own the Husky Restaurant as this is why we have a voucher program in place to accommodate our guests better and still make it easy for everyone. we hope to see you and your team again if playing in the area.

Have a great hockey season and good luck,

Yours in Hospitality,

Nicole Sullivan

Located at the intersection of highway 2 and 43, it has the predictable noise associated with a highway-side hotel. Like so many other hotels in the area, the majority of the guests are working in the area. Early morning diesels purring outside your room are not uncommon.

Front counter staff was helpful, both on the phone and in person.

I'm not sure if it was the cleaning products or a previous guests but the room smelled strongly of cologne and I had to open the window and both doors to air it out.

Wednesdays are their customer appreciate night with free pizza and beer in the common room - a nice surprise. Breakfast was in the joining Husky Restaurant. Several hot options and it seemed like there was an army dedicated to filling up the buffet with the usual continental offerings as well.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on floors 2 and above to get away from morning noise.
