Bay Tree Cottage Accommodation

Me and my husband Luke (plus our dog Steffie and rabbit Lola) stayed at the Bay Tree Cottage for the Easter Break (four nights). We were celebrating Luke’s 30’th B’Day and visiting FIA &WEC Silverstone racings. I have to say we really miss the place after leaving- sooo homely !
On the arrival we have been warmly welcomed by very friendly “welcoming committee” – Jenny (owner) and her two sons George and Alfie. …And a very delicious orange cake made by George ! We are still impressed with how delicious it was ! :)
BTC has a perfect location to go on a nice walk with dog ! Many different walks around with picturesque views. Very good location around a 15 minutes from Silverstone Circuit.
The rooms very spacious and with one of the comfiest beds we’ve ever slept on! Lovely and crispy linen too. Amazing view from the back windows to the colourful garden, valley and horses. Newly done clean and hygienic en-suite.
The food was delicious. We’ve been gifted with fresh eggs from their own chickens, homemade cakes, croissants and biscuits on a daily basis. Fridge filled up with homemade marmalade and jams …. Rum and raisin marmalade – sooooo yummy !
Owners – Jenny and Will could not do enough for us, very helpful, informative and made us feel so welcome. You can clearly say how dedicated they are ! Overall an excellent stay and we will definitely be returning soon. THANK YOU Jenny and Will !

A lovely place to stay and you get a very warm welcome from very accommodating hosts in Jenny and Will.
We stayed in one of the cottages which gave a very homely feel.
Everything you need is there and well kept , tidy and clean.
The bathroom has a nice modern powerful shower with luxury surroundings in olde world type bedroom with old exposed wooden beams.
We had fresh fruit everyday and a well stocked fridge for all our breakfast needs and more.
When we came back from working in the area we would find little treats which Jenny had hand made that day, like chocolates or cakes.
Would recommend to stay here are will definitely be back if we are in this area again.

We stayed over New Year and had a fabulous time. While the cottage itself was quite small, it was beautifully decorated and furnished with a big TV, powerful rain shower and extremely comfortable beds. Though it's self catering, the owners provided splendid breakfast materials of fresh farm eggs, home made preserves and jam and croissants. With the owners being on site, they were on hand for any queries (such as where to go with the kids for a walk, or to lend us some cornflower for our gravy!!) and we had home made treats delivered to our door both days we were there! We stayed in the area as one of our party was appearing in Wind in the Willows at the Derngate in Northampton, and this was only half an hour away, yet still felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. It was a splendid end to 2013 and a great start to 2014. Thank you!!

Cannot fault this accommodation and combined with welcoming hostess, Jenny and her home baking made this a very pleasant stay prior to a wonderful workshop. Very pleasant walking in the rolling local countryside as well.

Bay Tree is in a pretty part of Northants and it is a pretty village . The accommodation has character and is clean and well thought out . Felt like staying in your own cottage and a comfy bed and nice modern toilet /shower . Food was left to provide for a meal and breakfast and delicious cakes as part of the offer ! Seem to be workshops taking place but did not have time to explore .
Character , personality and comfort - all excellent . Thanks

Adam

This is an excellent place to stay. Very welcoming and accommodating hosts, good food and a lovely setting. We stayed in a self-contained suite with our own door, over two levels with a spiral staircase. There were plenty of utensils for cooking, and fresh produce was replenished daily as needed. Transport was also arranged for us, and overall we felt very spoiled. Highly recommended
