Exhibits are always being added to. Staff friendly, helpful and speak excellent English. Do watch the film and take advantage of the short explanatory talk in the theatre, it all begins to make sense.

We say that because this Museum is also a Memorial and contains so many individual stories of those involved in the assault in Pegasus Bridge and surrounds.

Welcoming staff, great layout and absorbing.

Personal uniforms and items abound, loads of room, informative and detailed exhibition then a walk over the bridge followed by a detailed look at The Horsa Gliders.

Do compare this one with the same at Mere St Eglise used by US Troops. Here it's wood there is metal pipes. Make your own conclusion which, if you had to, you would rather chance your landing in!

We thought this was a beautiful place to remember and appreciate the sacrifice of these quite brave but ordinary blokes.

All the places I had seen in the longest day film in the flesh so to speak loved the walk to where the gliders came in.
