This is a very good and informative museum however I really felt disappointed that the tours offered are only in French. After alll it was the British who fought for it and took it and having seen tours done so much better in other places, offering French of course but also English and even German language tours. A wallking tour of the area really should be offered and they have really missed a trick here. Such a shame.

Spent the day here with children ranging from 17 to 3. We all had a really good time. It's been a dream of mine to come here for 15 years, since I took interest in the war. Nothing was a disappointment. The museum is full of interesting information, the bridge is just a bridge but a very special bridge.

We had a nice but rather expensive drink in the Pegasus bridge cafe but I didn't care about the cost. It's small, cosy and full of unique items given by veterans. This is now ticked off my bucket list. Such a unique place.

Whoever rated the cafe 1 star should be ashamed. If you know your stuff you'll know the cafe played a huge part in operation. Sure it's not perfect and one of the lady's was a little grumpy but be the bigger man and enjoy it for the part it played in us Brits not speaking German!!

I was in aw of the entire area as None of our life's would be the same had this mission not gone well. I take my hat off to all those that did what had to be done.

Museum is located right next to the well used Pegasus bridge. The original bridge is now in the museum, but the used one is an exact copy. There are monuments at the landing places of the gliders and great cafe's located next to the bridge.

This is such a lovely memorial to those that took this bridge. For those that survived and for those who didn't but helped to liberate France and end the 2nd World War
