We selected this restaurant for lunch at random when tasting champagne in Ambonnay. We chose from the menu of the day. I had leek and bacon soup, steak frites and banana macarons. My fiance had the fresh salad, then salmon with rice followed by the cheeseboard. The salad had chunks of foie gras on top, which wasn't ideal as he doesn't eat meat, but they were easily removed.
Entree was 3 euros, main course 9-10 and dessert 3-4 which was very good value for well cooked, tasty food. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and the waiters were very patient with our indifferent French. We would go back if we were in the area.
