It's a fantastic place if you can afford it. Wonderful forest allcovered with violets, a fairy-tale looking castle of the main office, fantastic restaurant. Highly recommended. Just Tripadvisor is wrong - the hotel is located not in Tours, but in a nearby village Veigne. Pay attention.

Stayed here on a recent bicycle tour of the Loire Valley. Our room was in the converted barn, and was very spacious and comfortable. The restaurant was out of this world, we all took pictures of the food presentations in addition to loving the food. The buildings and setting are beautiful, and a fit place to base a tour of the chateaus surrounding it. Short bike ride to Villandry and Azay le Rideau. And a swim in the pool to top off the day. Highly recommend.

Such a pretty hotel that makes you feels like a prince/ princess. I love the main building, the building makes you feel like going back to the past, and yet the rooms are very modern and comfortable. The view was relaxing and peaceful. Food in the hotel was nice, breakfast included was very good with a wide selection. The dinner in the hotel was very nice too, the dining room setting was very romantic and the food was good.

Location was okay, signage was good, easy to find.

The owner was very welcoming and nice. Best place to go for honeymoon or wedding anniversary or a quiet holiday. You can spend all day in the hotel to recharge.

Room Tip: choose a room in the main building if you are a couple. If you go with friends and family, better stay in the side buildings.

This is a really wonderful hotel. We found it to be truly excellent in ALL respects. The bedroom was quite delightful, and the restaurant was extremely good. Breakfasts were also of an exceptional standard. The hotel itself, and its location, are utterly charming. The staff (and this means ALL of them) are in a class of their own. They are all without exception, quite superb. They are professional and delightful in personality. We shall be returning soon.

We stayed four great nights at this property and were delighted in our room, the hospitality, and most of all the dining room. I would highly recommend it as a perfect place to relax and use as a base for touring spots in the Loire Valley. The staff was outstanding, the view magnificent, and we loved every minute of it.
