I tried and tried but there is seriously not one bad thing i can say about this hotel. Our stay there was magical from A to Z.
They came to pick us up from the port (although it's a very short walk to the hotel).
As they showed us to our room, they told us some rooms don't pick up the internet connection (the premisses of the hotel are quite big and it's quite spread out). I noticed straight away that i couldn't pick up a connection and 20min later, they had brought an extra modem to our room so we could connect!
The room's design is very modern and stylish. The hotel is VERY well kept. I was surprised to hear they've been open for 8 years: it looks brand new!
There is a little kitchen in the room in case you want to cook something. Each room has a little balcony. We had two huge Fat Boy type of bean bags to seat on, it was really cool.
I LOVED the amenities! The shower gel/body cream/conditioner are Cologne from Thierry Mugler all over the hotel (also in the shared bathrooms) and smells soooo good! They even ofered us some more when they came to refresh the room.
There is a tiny shop in front of the reception that sells very stylish clothes from niche brands (Muzungu Sisters and the likes, was so surprised!).
We didn't try the swimming pool but it is filled with sea water - which we found quite cool.
The biggest highlight for us was the breakfast though. We were looking forward to it every day!
Loved the cuttlery. The plates were shaped like paper plates you'd take camping but was all ceramic. The food came out so fast. You barely had time to sit that the'y bring out freshly toasted bread with homemade jam and two types of honey. EVERYTHING on the menu is home made. The banana bread is to die for! The pancakes (not the typical american style) and delicious! Loved everything. In fact i found the banana bread so good i asked for the recipe and they wrote it down for me. I couldn't finish my two slices one day (had so many things on the menu) and the waiter packed it for me (he knew i found them delicious) and even gave me an extra slice.
Come to think of it i *can* think of a negative thing about our stay: it definitively was too short!
Thanks again for the amazing stay and service Anemi team, you guys rock! We'll definitely be back!
