Beautifully displayed artifact from a sophisticated 1st-3rd century CAD included many carved stone crypts with life stories represented in characters and symbols, 3 intact ceramic ducks, jewelry, jugs and a fabulous display of contemporary alabaster sculpture by a local artist.

“Interesting but not mind blowing!”
Reviewed June 25, 2013

The museum was fairly easy to find and recommended so we payed what we thought was a lot to get in. It contains Etruscan tomb remains. It seems that years ago, if you had a bit of money your body was cremated and the remains put in a carved stone trough with a carved lid. They have hundreds of them here.
Some of the other archeological finds were interesting: the oldest bronze statues reminded us of Harrapa.
All of Italy is expensive and the museum is worth seeing.

“everything Etruscan you ever wanted to know”
Reviewed June 8, 2013

One of the most complete museums of Etruscan artefacts in the world. Three floors full of a whole range of items from the Etruscan civilization. Huge coin and jewelry collection.

“Etruscan atrefacts”
Reviewed May 5, 2013

This etruscan museum ihaswell preserved artefacts, especcially focused on the urns and everyday objects. I did miss multi-lingual information boards, for this kind of presentations I would say 8 € per person is overpriced.

“Great Museum”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

Lots to see. Funery box stone carvings were very intricate. The gold leaf crown was worth seeing as well as the other jewellery. Ancient Roman coins were also worth seeing.
Etruscan arms and armour on display. Worth seeing
