We stayed at La Primavera for two nights and found it to be clean and very welcoming, our large room was very clean with a beautiful ensuite bathroom.
There are only four bedrooms off the sitting room but each is very individual and private, the breakfast is great with a good choice and includes some home made delights.
There is ample on site parking and it is only two minutes walking to the city walls, this is a lovely small BB with great qualities and a lovely hostess.
We would certainly return to this little gem.

We stayed in Primavera just for one night and had a great stay here. The hostess was welcoming and improvised a good breakfast when we left very early in the morning before we left. The room was fairly priced and was clean, decorated and with lots of space.

The B&B is a ground floor building outside city walls, which in a tiny city like Volterra means a mere 2 minute walk which is already enough to ensure that the location is very quiet.

It is worth staying in Volterra even on a short trip to Tuscany and Primavera is a good choice for your "base".

We stayed in Casa Primavera for one night and I think this is a good bet in Volterra.

Volterra is really very small, so what looks like a location outside the city wall, it is only a 10mn walk from the main bus stop, where buses from Florence arrive.
This place is located just at the end of the main street.

La Primavera is a B&B, runned by Silvia, that received us very well at our arrival.
The rooms have independent entrances from the main house, and are quite big, clean and comfortable.
This B&B had a very cosy and informal feeling, but it seemed very organized and prepared for its guests, which is the perfect combination for me.

Although we had to leave very early in the morning, before breakfast hour, and didn't have time to warn Silvia about this, she was nice enough to arrange for us a very nice breakfast in only 5mn, so that we could get to the bus in time.

If I was to return to Volterra, I would stay there again.

Beautiful clean and spacious rooms, great home made breakfast and wonderful location. The hosts are extremely friendly and make you feel welcome and at home from the moment you step inside. I will definately go back!

La Primavera is a wonderful bed and breakfast just outside the city walls of Volterra. Clean and beautiful and spacious with an excellent breakfast. If you are arriving to Volterra by bus it is a little bit of a walk- straight through the heart of the city- when you reach the other side you are almost there- under ten minutes walking time.
