beach location, good food and lovely staff creating a family atmosphere. Thats a great place for beach and food lovers. Even if it seems big it's very cosy.
There are different room tipes. the best ones are those close to the pool at the ground floor. those in a mail buildin are not so special and big.
Hotel is far from the city but thera are some restaurans around in case you get bored with a hotel restaurant.
The bus to Cagliari stops just 200m from the hotel.

We stayed for a week here and thought it was great! It was a reasonable price for such a good location - straight onto the beach. We were looking for something 'grown up' (not a 'family hotel) and this place was spot on! Loverly pool in a very well kept garden. The room was rather basic - and the bathroom a really tight squeeze! I would have liked a bigger, more modern shower that you could open the door to! but this was over shadowed by the lovely staff - especially the very personable bar man. Every evening you are served with 'Italian nibbles' to accompany your drinks. The restaurant was a bit over priced compared with other local places to eat, but again - great service. The hotel decor is stylish, with a good art collection in the corridors. The local town is nice to explore - I recommend the market - and great for people watching over a beer or coffee. We were also there to scuba dive with a local company and relaxing in the hotel and sports activity fitted together really well. (The hotel manager is a scuba diver himself!)

Room Tip: Be aware of the hotel laundry and service area at the rear of the hotel.

One of the best small hotels you can find on Sardinia. Very quiet in a secluded, lush garden setting. On-site parking lot. Private hotel beach (for a fee) with chairs and towels. Nice on-site restaurants including a separate garden lunch spot with incredible buffet offerings, convenient to the beach area. Great bar, and the night we were there they featured a jazz vocalist—a treat before and after dinner. Wifi is available in the lobby. The room was spacious. Wish we could have stayed longer; many other guests were “regulars”, can see why.

We had the most enjoyable holidays in September in Simius Playa hotel. Stylish interiors, nice food, beautiful small garden with the swimming pool romantically lighten up at night. From the first moment we felt at home surrounded by friendly and attentive people. The staff is excellent! Every member of the team from the reception to the barman and gardener are very nice. Congratulations to the Management on creating such a good enviroment for the guests! Perfect location on the beach, close to the the village and shops. This hotel can be recommended to the travellers( especially couples) looking for the peacefull, comfortable and relaxing place. Would definetely come back again.

Room Tip: Shady side of the building is more cool and quiet.

We spent the last week of August relaxing in Villasimius, arriving at the hotel late on a Saturday evening to a friendly and welcoming reception. Having intended to explore the town on the first evening we instead found the atmosphere in the hotel so relaxing that we decided to eat in the restaurant and enjoy the picturesque bar area that opens out on to the pool area and surrounding attractive gardens.Subsequent days were spent chilled out on the beautiful beach literally on the doorstep of the hotel, exploring the local town and enjoying the odd Negroni, G&T and Bellinis in the, by now, compulsory bar. Throughout the week the staff were attentive, helpful and always acommodating. We found the breakfasts more than adequate with lots of choice, and enjoyed the meal we had in the hotel restaurant although we ate out on most nights as our package was only B&B. The charges for the beach sunbeds were explained upfront and were not excessive given the time that you can spend on such a pleasant beach and sea. Our room was a standard room and we could find no complaints,it was clean, tidy with a quality modern bathroom. Whilst the pool was small, with limited sunbeds, virtually everybody makes use of the beach instead so it was still possible to spend a quiet couple of hours in the late afternoon relaxing round the pool with a G&T of course. There were very few english guests in the hotel when we stayed but we don't find that a problem. Overall this is a beautiful, relaxing, colonial style hotel with attractive gardens, a lovely pool, patio and bar area, friendly and helpful staff which we would have no hesitation in recommending, particularly to couples. Thank you for a great holiday !
