“Fantastic Steak in a beautiful little ristorante”

Very quaint cave type ristorante, very romantic but most of all outstanding food, we ate in a lot of places in and around Vieste & found nothing to come close. Highly recommended. A1 service and food.

“Atmospheric with very good food and service”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

Situated in a narrow alleyway off via Duomo, Al Duomo is very traditional in appearance, with tables in a sunken cellar and outside in the alleyway. It's a family-run place and this helps achieve an a very good level of service in terms of both speed and pleasantness.
We had mussles, stuffed sardines and anchovies , and the Crustaci al Gratine, all of which were well prepared and flavoured, and not over heavy. there was a fairly extensive wine list with prices running from €12 upwards. Our overall bill for 2 for starters, mains, desserts and wine, plus the inevitable cover charge, was €78.
If we'd been in Vieste longer we would have gone again.

“Great food, good location”
Reviewed August 4, 2013

Having had some quite disappointing fare in other Vieste restaurants, it was a relief to find this place. Hidden down an alley, it was quite busy but we managed to get a table for two inside their vault-like rooms. Food was great; house wine was drinkable. Considering how busy they were, service was prompt and efficient. Would definitely go here again.

“Great restaurant”
Reviewed July 8, 2013 via mobile

Very delicious food, excellent wine - value for money! Staff was very busy, running between tables. Took some time to get a chance to order.."one moment please". But after ordering, food came quickly and staff was very kind.

“A lovely find”
Reviewed June 28, 2013

Hidden away in the old town we were relieved to find Al Duomo after dinner at a few naff nearby restaurants on previous nights. The menu had some tasty traditional local dishes, the atmosphere was cosy and the wine good. An ideal place on a cold night for some delicious comfort food
