Booked on strength of positive reviews and not disappointed. Prepaid so made substantial saving. Family run small hotel that is immaculately maintained. Breakfast is super. Nothing too much trouble for the staff team. Rooms are spotless and public areas delightful. Front rooms prone to be noisy we understand but were fortunate to be at the back with a view across the roof tops to the sea beyond.
Hotel is superbly located right behing the sea front and ten minutes walk to the staion where there are regular train services to Pisa ,Lucca and Florence.
One tip - a restaurant called Amaro on the same road as the hotel slightly further inland that does a wonderful tasting menu with fresh sea-food , wine, water and coffee with liqueur for just 35 Euro a head.
Town is elegant with lovely promenade and free beach area oppsite hotel road.
Overall a wonderful break so kick back and enjoy.More
