I stayed one week in Hotel Tirrenia, last July with my husband and our 14 years old son.
Like others tripadvisor members have already told,Luca and his family are really kind and helpful.
The location is great, not in the main road but a few steps from de seaside and the private beach that Luca recommended to us.The hotel has a special price for one of the private beaches,we payed 18 eur for one umbrella and 2 chairs for all day.
The hotel provide beach towels for guests.
The breakfast was very good and fresh.Internet access for free in the lobby.
The one think that I have not liked at all was our room. Small for us 3,with an even small and old bathroom( although very clean). No balcony where we could put the beach towels to dry,and views to the back of the hotel.I think they have triple rooms with balcony and street view but I am not sure.
Viareggio itself is a great resort, with fantastic shops open until late and very good restaurants.Excellent train connections with Tuscany and Liguria. We went to Cinque Terre,Portofino ,Luca and Pisa. The train station is 15 min walking from the Hotel.
Easy to reach Pisa airport.More
