This restaurant is hidden away in a small street in the town of Ghiffa on the shores of the Lago Maggiore. The cuisine is delicious, imprinted to the philosophy of slow food, as one of the owners worked with them for many years: all natural ingredients, many from Pidemont's providers, and often seasonal. A kong other dishes, we had luccio (pike) au gratin cooked with herbs, Taglioliny with venison ragu, risotto with truffles (in season), tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and artichokes and toma (cheese) soufflé. The selection of desserts is also mouth watering, our preferred were the delicate creme caramel and the calvados apple pie. The wine selection is original and comes accompanied with information and historical notes.
