My sister and I visited Olang recently and were enchanted by both the hotel and the entire valley. The hotel seems like a home away from home for many of the guests and it was not long before we felt like part of the family. The proprietors and staff are lovely, the food was plentiful and delicious, and the rooms were spotlessly clean. Although we paid for Bed and Breakfast only, the staff would follow up with us every morning of our stay to confirm if we would be in for dinner that evening and would tell us if there was a special event happening. Almost every evening we were there, we decided to stay for dinner, with the exception of our last night when we came back to the hotel and saw an amazing BBQ feast they were serving on the lawn and wished we had stayed for dinner. The hotel is in a quiet location, but within walking distance of the train station and the main part of town, so it is conveniently located. Bikes available for guests are plentiful and appeared to be in a multitude of sizes so as to accommodate pretty much everyone. We enjoyed our stay immensely and look forward to returning some day soon.

This is a four-month long trip, which will feature literally dozens of hotels. The Scherer will be right at the top of the “most favored” list. We found it by accident as we sat at the gorgeous swimming pool across the road (local hotels give guests free passes for the pool, and for trains & buses in the area). We reserved two nights, half board, in a junior suite. This was comfortable and very spacious, and had its own balcony looking out over fields to the Dolomites. The food for breakfast and the five-course dinner - was great. There are very nice local walks to do. The host, Cristofe was very kind and helpful - he speaks a number of languages, and I am sure you can find one that works with him!

Cozy family hotel with everything needed for a good stay. Our room was well heated and big enough, cleaning every day was a big plus. Convenient transport from the hotel to the ski slopes. Excellent service by the owners and very helpful staff. The food was varied and we tried the Italian cuisine in several variants. I recommend the hotel.

We come back here almost every year. The staff is lovely, the breakfast is rich, the dinner is tasty, the facilities are incredible and the rooms are very comfi. The best of all is how easy and quickly we can get to the slopes in the morning! I couldn't imagine anywhere better to go for a skiing holiday.

We stayed one week in this hotel, we had a really good time there.
Mr.Christopher and his family were really kind, the food was so nice.
The room, even though it was a little bit small for us and also there wasn't a refrigerator, anyway it was very clean and quite modern style.
During the holiday, we enjoyed with the cosy swimming pool in front of the hotel, and also the bicycle which we could rent there. We used the train very often to move on coz it was like just 5 min a walk to get the train station, it was very useful.
Anyway, we are really happy to stay there. But I just wonder one thing.....if it was raining, we could enjoy like this???
