We visited Canonica for friends wedding. The place was just perfect for this occasion. Absolutely beautiful! It is a bit remote location, you certainly need a car if you wish to leave a hotel, however the rest is just wonderful. The style and feel of the hotel are just unique. Attentive staff and home made yogurt make your day everyday there. :) Highly recommended if you are looking for a nice and quiet location.

We stayed with a large group that occupied all of the rooms. Our room was gorgeous and comfortable. Very clean and modern bathrooms. The staff was very accomodating and the dinners we had there were excellent. Breakfast buffet had homemade yogurt which was delicious but I would have liked some eggs or other protein as well. The pastries didn't seem overly fresh and were seen several days in a row. We had to leave very early in the morning our last day and they packed us a breakfast to go the night before which was very nice.

They have pets on the premises, a parrot, two cats and a dog. The dog is kind of a beggar and actually bit one of the other guests while we were there. It also growled at several of the other people in our group.

Overall, we loved our stay there. It is in a very beautiful setting that is peaceful and offers fantatasic views.

In September we spent 1 week at Tenuta Canonica. It was our 3. stay at this place. We love it because of the beautiful landscape, the lovely decoration and setting of the place and last but not least the excellent food. We had diner at the tenuta every night, we always had a different menu and the food was extraordinary.

The service and attention was first class just as during our previous stays.
We are already looking forward to our next stay

Room Tip: We always take junior Suite. All rooms are quiet and you can chose from the web side.

Really charming hotel, stylishly decorated, in a beautiful setting not too far from our route but very peaceful, surrounded by olive groves and fields of sunflowers. We were served a good set dinner on the terrace, and breakfast was pretty good too, with real coffee. not instant as is sometimes the case in italian hotels. Staff were helpful but not intrusive. Including some of their delicious olive oil we bought to take with us and a decent bottle of wine with dinner, we thought the bill was very reasonable. Very relaxed atmosphere. We would definitely stop here again.

Room Tip: The Chinese room had lovely views

Deep gratitude :-)

Should your emails not be adam and eve @ tin.it ?

For surely where you live is paradise :-)

We happened upon your hotel “accidentally”. We were on our way from Rome to the east coast and wanted to shorten the drive for our children.

And so we booked a night in Todi, a town we had never heard of.

And as it turned out this was to be our Italian highlight. Our best experience of our 3,5 weeks there.

We stayed in room 8. We adored your staff, the food was heavenly (ofcourse since this is paradise) and the view ….

Your view made me have to reevaluate my insistent “I can only be happy by the sea”.

For that is what I was …. Purely, completely happy.

Much gratitude.
Cathrine.

Room Tip: As a family of 4 we loved room 8.

Wonderful hotel with a marvelous view at Todi, lovely rooms with historic interior, very clean and a lovely service, but don't take dinner or lunch there! It can't compete with the much better food in town and is serverely overpriced. We spend around € 100 for two persons and I am sad to say that it was very tasteless and not even fancy to look at. The fowl was very much overcooked, the dessert was boring and starter was simple and tasteless. Salt and pepper was missing in every dish we had. So have a lovely stay at that wonderful hotel but avoid the kitchen! Take the 10min drive to Todi!

My wife and I spent two nights at Tenuta di Canonica in May and we recommend it highly. Our suite was classy, staff were extremely helpful, going out of their way at every opportunity. Breakfast was excellent. The only problem was that Tenuta was slightly difficult to find although in the end our GPS came through. At night the entrance should be illuminated - the GPS began to malfunction, we lost our way and had adventures best not recounted here. Bring a good flashlight if you go out for dinner. Overall, Tenuta was an experience distinctly superior.

Room Tip: Bring good flaslight
